Updated Review – July 2025 A Rocky Start, But a Strong Recovery – Thank You Amanda!
I’m happy to share that since then, Amanda—the Catering and Events Manager—personally reached out to make things right. She was kind, responsive, and took the time to drop off the food herself. The experience with her was a complete 180 from the earlier miscommunication.
And the food? Genuinely delicious. Bold flavors, great presentation, and even dog-approved by our office pup! Amanda’s professionalism and the quality of the food gave me confidence in their catering service after all. We look forward to using them again and going to show our support in house as well. The Rob’s sauce was amazing!- if your about your sauces, this is where it’s at.
While the initial lack of follow-through was frustrating, I truly appreciate the effort made to correct the situation. It shows a willingness to listen and improve.
Thanks again, Amanda!
Disappointed with the Follow-Through on Catering Offer
I recently received an email from Alfred Alvarez, the Catering Director (and the district Manager Steve was CC’d on the email as well) at Haven Hot Chicken, offering to drop off complimentary hot chicken samples for our office. The message was enthusiastic and made it sound like a great opportunity to try their catering—bold flavors, convenient delivery, and a menu that sounded genuinely appealing.
I promptly responded with a few available dates, not once but twice, and never heard back. No confirmation, no follow-up—nothing.
Frankly, it’s disappointing and unprofessional to offer something like complimentary samples and then completely drop the ball when someone shows interest. If you’re going to promote your catering services and actively reach out to potential customers, the bare minimum is to follow through when someone responds.
This kind of experience doesn’t inspire confidence in your ability to deliver on catering promises, let alone handle time-sensitive office events. Why bother offering samples if you’re not going to honor them?
I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as I was genuinely looking forward to trying Haven Hot Chicken and potentially becoming a regular customer. I’m still open to giving it a shot—if the team decides to make...
Read moreMy first time here was yesterday, I was already prepared for the prices because other people had already told me that was around $20 per meal so no problem on that, but I paid almost $19 for a chicken tender meal and another $16 for a waffle and chicken and when I got home there were no fries for my tenders so I call them and I say hey you guys forgot my fries maybe I can go back and pick them up, I didn't mind is about 5 min from my house. But manager said he was going to reimburse me one order for that mistake so I was happy because that's better. I ask how would i get the refund he Said to same card you used to pay and that I didn't had to do anything else, so I waited and no refund. Today I called around 12:30 I spoke to a different manager this time I get her name (Angie) she tells me sorry for that I definitely will give you the refund but give me about an hr. Is now 6pm and no refund yet. All I wanted was my missing fries but they didn't gave them to me and instead tricked me to settle for a refund that they never gave me. Paying almost $20 for 3 chicken strips and a coke...
Read moreNew favorite chicken sandwich! Like most things in life…..you get tend to get what you pay for. Don’t be fooled by the fast food counter and decor. This place isn’t just another chicken sandwich joint. I think most people might get a little sticker shock from the near $20 lunch combo price, but once you take a bite….you’ll understand. You would easily pay that for a comparable lunch at any pub or restaurant…..and more often than not….the quality and flavor won’t be nearly as good. The manager Al was great. As it was our first time into a Haven Hot Chicken, he gave us a sample of the chicken to try and later checked in with us to make sure we had enjoyed our meal. Very friendly service. Excellent quality chicken….and fries…..and banana pudding. Just be careful with the spice levels. Medium at Haven is easily a HOT anywhere else. I enjoyed it, but I’m glad that Al warned me and I didn’t opt for their version of hot. Will definitely be...
