Subway — Restaurant in Newington

Came in and only one employee, didn't know what he was doing. When it was my turn to order he almost burnt the sandwich in the wrong bag to toast and almost set the whole place on fire. He also had no clue how to use the register. To top it off, for my fountain water, he used the HAND WASHING SINK!!! Only positive is that after that whole fiasco it tasted good and came out right. Never coming back to this location though. Do not recommend.

Came back to give one more chance, I've been here many times and everytime I come here it is a brand new employee who does not know what he/she is doing! I ordered online which was probably a mistake in the first place. When I went in to pick up my order they didn't even ask to see my order or ask for any confirmation that I was actually the person who had ordered the food. When we got home to eat the sandwiches were completely jumbled together like they took both our orders and threw them in a hat and pulled out random things to put on each. And I wrote instructions to make sure they toasted the subs. Nope. As someone who has worked in restaurunts for 20 years I understand things get busy and mistakes can be made, but to mix up ingredients and such can be dangerous for someone who has allergies. The price of sandwiches are jacked up but you get nothing in return. Employees are trained to add as little veggies as possible or they can get away with. I looked with disbelief when he spaced out tomatoes an inch apart. What kind of sandwich place doesn't carry Swiss cheese?! And they have a nerve to ask for a tip. Skip this place. Let it die or maybe Subway should take away its franchise license. Let me be clear its not employees fault. I seen owner/supervisor act and I think he is the problem. Guy making my sandwich appeared genuinely afraid to put more ingredients on the sandwich even when asked. Go across the street to the one inside Walmart. At least you will get your money worth.
