I really dislike leaving negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience for others considering this salon. Unfortunately, if you’re a new customer, you’re often assigned to whichever technician is available—regardless of their experience level. Regular clients who get acrylics seem to be paired with the more skilled nail techs, which you can see reflected in the photos the salon displays.
I hadn’t been here in a few years, and when I returned recently for an acrylic fill, I was treated as a “new” customer and assigned to a technician named Winnie. It was immediately clear she had little to no experience with acrylics. From the start, the service felt rushed and careless: she left remnants of my old polish underneath the new set, built the acrylic too thick and uneven, and finished with a poor paint job that left sticky residue and polish on my skin.
To the salon’s credit, I came back later the same day and a more experienced technician kindly fixed the issues. However, the overall experience left me disappointed enough that I won’t be returning. Unless you know the names of their top techs and can specifically request them, I’d be cautious booking here—especially for acrylics. The atmosphere also felt a bit unwelcoming, which...
Read moreSo I usually come here and haven’t had any difficulties until today. I requested a gel manicure with chrome powder on top, this time, a new employee was taking care of me, Lexi. It was her second day working there, and I could see that she did not have the proper training and did not know what to do in terms of manicure steps. She had to redo two of my nails, and even of all her hard effort, my nails were not turning out well. Dany, another manicurist went to check her work, and removed everything, and start all over AGAIN. He had another client at the time so I felt bad, but did an amazing job in just a couple of minutes. He moved to her other client right before finishing my nails, and asked another manicurist to apply the chrome powder. This girl came in and applied the powder in such a rush while grabbing my hands so aggressively, she did all of this while STANDING and left right away. Her being extremely unprofessional and rude at the end really ruined my entire experience. I was charged $53 for this service (full price) after a poor experience with many incidents. I am very disappointed of this visit, this time was...
Read moreI was disappointed with the service I was given and the quality of my manicure and pedicure. Typically when I do my nails I home, my pedicure lasts for at least a week or two without chipping but my pedicure started chipping after 5 days of getting it done at this salon. I disregarded this mishap and returned to the salon for a dip powder manicure a few weeks later. I did a lot of research as I didn’t know if I wanted dip powder or a gel manicure and I concluded I would go for dip powder because I learned it lasted longer than gel manicures. After just two days of having my dip powder nails, one of my nails chipped. I am so upset that I spent more for dip powder nails and it chipped just after a few days. Second, when I went to go sit at the nail techs desk, she was busy filing her own nails and I wasn’t helped until she was done, which just doesn’t sit right with me and isn’t sanitary in my opinion. Lastly, I go to salons so I can feel relaxed but the lady doing my nails was so rude to the man booking appointments and taking phone calls, I felt so awkward sitting in her chair as they were...
