Aroma Joe's Coffee — Restaurant in Newmarket

My boyfriend went to pick me up a raspberry and strawberry rush and himself a mango smoothy tonight around 7PM, when he arrived there he sat at the window for about 5 minutes. When no one came he drove up to the 2nd window and waited for another 5 minutes before the girl came to window and told him that "sometimes the bell doesn't ring letting us know a car drove up." This wouldn't have bothered me but the rush he brought home had absolutely no energy drink in it (or at least didn't taste like it did and there wasn't any fiz or bubbles at all when shaking the drink). It was essentially a ton of syrup and was so horribly sweet that I couldn't drink it. This is the closest Aroma Joe's to my apartment and unfortunately the worst as far as taste and customer service. I used to go here but I realized I was spending 20 minutes waiting for a simple latte. It’s been a couple months and this place is the only coffee shop open when I go to work but 3 people left the line of cars including me because the line had not moved in 10 minutes. Either the girls need to pick up the pace or the manager needs to stop scheduling only one teenage girl to work in the morning. You’re ruining people’s mornings and making them late to work . I go there in the early evening to get a cappacino to find the drink not very hot. As I inquire I find out they turn the espresso machines OFF around 5p and keep espresso shots in a stainless steel pitcher to use for drinks. I thought maybe this was just a one time thing but no, this is the norm. They serve cold, bitter & old espresso in their hot espresso based drinks at night. Way to ruin a good product.
