Crackskulls is my ABSOLUTE new favorite go-to place to do work, talk to kind people, read a book, or for a good matcha latte. They make their own syrups and the matcha is unsweetened - which is perfect for someone like me who has a hard time finding places that don't use lots of sugar (like Dunkin). You can make your drink however you want it! The staff are incredibly friendly and are so sweet. (: Their selection of books combined with the soft lighting and comfortable seating makes for a perfect day trip to hangout and talk with friends. You can give them your gently used books and they will pay you for them! $0.50 for softcover and $1 for a hardcover. My personal favorite spot is the far left where there is a nice wooden table and a (very comfy) couch. There is also plenty of outdoor seating! Their food is also DELICIOUS and you can tell they make everything with lots of love. The apple cinnamon bread and the blueberry poundcake are soooo good!! Have not tried their coffee, but I am sure it is the best around this area. Also, only a 10 minute drive from Durham if you're a college student at UNH! Wifi is provided to you as long as you are a paying customer. Speaking of paying, the prices are UNBEATABLE for the quality of this place - $9 for a large matcha latte, a homebaked goodie, and a new regular customer.

I spend a few days a week drawing at Crackskull, The orange mocha latte has become my every day order and the staff always remember. A few months ago, I lost my apartment my car and my dog And had to pull myself through months of homelessness, And since then, in a rebuilding phase of my life, this has been the one place I know I can spend hours of my day with lovely staff, kind locals and great coffee. Thank you CrackSkull.

Every time I've been there, my coffees have been fantastic! I went in yesterday (10/08) and the barista (I'm SO sorry I didn't catch her name!) My receipt says 1:15 if that helps! She was so friendly! I would much rather go here for the quality and friendliness of all of the staff I've interacted with! It truly makes a difference, esp being in the food/retail business myself for almost 12 years. A little goes a long way: (see above), making funny and nice conversation, not being pushy about anything. And I love the compostable cups! This was also where my husband and I went on our first date because of how neat the store is! The books are so cool! Keep up the...

Second time at crackskulls today. Even more pleased with this place. Ordered a large iced Banana-Nut (banana and hazelnut) Latte and a blueberry scone. the latte is perfect and the scone is so moist without being overly sweet. Its worth noting on my first trip I noticed a sign on this shop that they offer free plan B with no questions asked, I just love the commitment to community and autonomy that this place displays. I need to make a mental note to think of this place over the chain coffee stops, I feel better patronizing this place and the quality of the goods is...
