The service, attentive and friendly. The staff ensured my order was taken promptly and my food arrived in a timely manner. They were also happy to provide recommendations on menu items to try.
And the food itself was absolutely delightful. The rice and beans, a Dominican staple, were perfectly cooked and seasoned, bursting with flavor. My main dish of pernil (roasted pork) was tender, juicy and packed with the rich, aromatic spices typical of the cuisine. Even the plantains and âmadurosâ, a simple side, were fried to perfection. Donât forget to try the empanadas, again outstanding.
Overall, a truly immersive Dominican dining experience. From the hospitable service to the authentic, high-quality food, this place stands out as a must-visit for anyone craving a taste of the Caribbean in Newnan. I'll definitely be...
Read moreMy family and I recently moved to Newnan and have been trying to find some good food spots. We happen to come across this spot in our Google search. I must say that I am very pleased with our decision. I ordered the roasted chicken with pigeon peas and my wife got the shrimp mofongo. We also got an empanada. The chicken leg quarters were cooked perfectly and the seasoning blend was superb. I mean fall off the bone delicious! The pigeon peas rice was exceptional as well. I tried my wife's mofongo and the rich, creaminess was front and center in that dish. The empanada also really impressed me. I haven't had a lot of chicken empanadas but the ones I've had are usually pretty dry. The chicken in this one was most and delicious. Thus far this is my absolute favorite spot I've tried since moving to Newnan. I intend on returning again very soon. I would highly, highly recommend this place to any and...
