What a great find!! My wife and I were in Newnan for the day to do a bit of shopping. Downtown Newnan has a lot of options but we were over the moon excited to have stumbled upon this little gem.
Peter, the owner, was very friendly and welcoming. The wait staff was great too. The chef was in the middle of developing a new dessert menu and let us try some of his creations. I don't know how they could possibly decide as they were all fantastic.
We came in on a Saturday afternoon and much to our delight ... they were still servicing brunch. Honestly, who can possibly do brunch without a classic Bloody Mary? There's was delicious (what is in that mix?!), well prepared, and came with all the 'fixins.'
The food itself - chef's kiss. I got the chicken and waffles and my wife got the breakfast croissant. The grits were absolutely to die for. I am usually a hash browns kinda guy but this may have won me over once and for all.
Prices were very reasonable and honestly quite cheap for the overall experience we had. On our way out, Peter told us about a live music show they were having next door at 'The Lune' that we ended up attending later that night. Overall a great experience - we felt like family. 100% would recommend for anyone in/around downtown...
Read moreVery overpriced! The food and the drinks were. My husband had the ham sandwich which had 3 slices of meat on it⌠and it was a $14 sandwich with a small pile of potato chips. They were out of a quite a few things we wanted to order. So I had the ceaser salad and it was fine. $6. No option to add protein unfortunatley. Sadly too, the soup on the menu wasnât available. No soup at all on a cold Saturday in February, but chili was advertised on the outside chalkboard? A slice of quiche or bowl of soup would have been great. Something warm on the menu. No sweet tea. Which I donât drink, but I overheard another table asking for sweet tea and they said they âhad tea in a canâ? Just surprising to not have sweet tea in a sandwich shop in the South? The staff was sweet. The atmosphere was cute but cheapy looking. Real flowers on the table would be a nice touch. Not plastic. They have a great location and great potential but we were really and sadly disappointed, we were really excited about this new addition in Newnan. $35 plus tip. For a sandwich, side salad and 1 cocktail that was, okay. We wonât...
Read moreThis is my second visit but will include my first that I meant to do.
This is such a delightful cafe. Open currently til 3pm each day and serving brunch.
Went with hubby first time and alone second.
Caprese: Delicious. We asked for a toasted, cut up hoagie to eat with it.
Turkey Sandwich: Great!
Hubby enjoyed his sandwich. Forgot what he ordered butâŚbacon!
Kettle chips: mehâŚNothing on them. I thought I would like the flavor I picked and didnât. It was the horseradish cheddar. Also is it weird I could taste the kettle?
Water glasses are adorable.
Cheese grits: Really stinkin good. Was recommended by another customer the first time.
Croissant w/ Grilled Chicken: Bread was great. Shouldâve gone with fried chicken. And you know how when you clean a pan or bottle but donât quite get all the soap? Had the faint taste like that. Otherwise great!
Service: Super friendly and willing to work with requests as long as they arenât absurd.
Overall - maybe a couple after taste oddities but everything tastes fresh, delicious, and will...
