Just drove 30 mins one way from peachtree city to try this place out for the first and last time. Spent over $90 for some EXTREMELY DRY AND INEDIBLE MEATS. Ordered plenty of food to try out their different options, and you’ll notice the receipt CLEARLY states a total OF NINE 9 sauces to go with the proteins. They FAILED to put even ONE sauce in the bag and when I got to my hotel to discover this, I gave them a call immediately to express my dissatisfaction and see what solution they had. It would be different if the meats weren’t so DRY, I could maybe get by without the sauces. But the ribs pork and even the sausage NEEDS a lot of sauce at this place. Yea, they even screwed up my BRISKET order and decided to replace it with pulled pork instead. Gotta be kidding me! The girl on the phone was passed to her by another employee and no one offered a solution other than requesting me to drive back to pickup the sauces that they FAILED to put in the bag. “We don’t charge for sauces soooooo….” were her exact words as though she doesn’t understand what comes with each order when placed. Anyone who isn’t drunk or high can clearly see how many sauces were supposed to be included. Either fix your dry meat or fix the employees running your restaurant and coach them to handle situations better than they currently do. I am not talking about being human and forgetting sauce. That’s understandable. I’m talking about understanding situations and not responding in a demeaning manor like I am a bum. I didn’t spend $92 looking for a handout, but your staff made me feel that way even after their $7+ prepaid tip on my takeout order. Do better OJ! Luckily, you won’t see me again.

This was my first time visiting so I ordered the Sausage and Brisket Combo Plate, the brisket was not great but good, after my first and only bite of the sausage I knew I didn't care for it. I explained my disappointment to the person at the front counter and asked to try the Pulled Pork, she brought it to the table and that was much better than the sausage. They offered 3 types of sauces with the dish and I recommend using them to rehydrate and enhance the flavor of the meat. The smell of smoked meat a half block away from the restaurant is what pulled me in, but somehow the smoked flavor was missing from my meal. The restaurant setting is typical barbecue spot aesthetics. The bathrooms were decent. The staff was friendly and one fair skinned African American woman stood out, My apologies for not asking her name. I explained to her that it was my first time visiting and she gave me a detailed explanation of the menu and gave me a few suggestions on what to order. With that energy, I would have purchased a house or a car from her. I would eat there again. There's plenty of parking within walking distance of the restaurant.

we were in the area, down from Atlanta. we are BBQ snobs and heard this was the best spot in Newnan, so we had to give it a try. I had the Pulled Pork plate and he had the brisket plate. we tried the mac & cheese, potato salad, and baked beans...all of which we are also particular about. the mac & cheese was shells and had sprinkled cheese on top. the flavor and cheesiness was excellent! the potato salad was also delish and had a smoky flavor to it which was different and nice. the beans were decent. he gave the brisket a B+, only because it was chopped and not sliced (he’s a texas guy who feels the only way to eat brisket is sliced) the flavor was good and moisture was on point. the pulled pork was very moist and had good flavor. they have 3 sauces on the table- sweet, hot and vinegar. all were delish on their own- blending sweet and hot was very good and blending all 3 was even better, surprisingly. the staff is nice and friendly. the vibe is industrial, modern and cool. we would pick this BBQ place over at least 10 spots in atlanta that many people have highly reviewed. definitely stop in! we will certainly be back!

We have used this restaurant for parties and we have also enjoyed eating there for a couple years. Late yesterday we picked up two meals for take out -- two brisket meals with potato salad and coleslaw. The restaurant was almost empty and the server mentioned to the other that it had been a slow day. We opened the meals immediately upon arriving at home at 7 pm (5 minute drive). The meat was room temperature. In my mind, I wondered if that would be an issue, but was starved so we ate them. My husband didn't have any problem and I'm guessing it is because he is on antibiotics / probiotics for an illness. However, later that night around 12:30, I started feeling very nauseous. The feeling continued to get worse and worse until I was unable to sleep and had to throw up. I hoped that once I purged the food from my system, I would feel better. Unfortunately, the nausea and vomiting continued for about 2 hours. Let me just say, shredded beef and bbq sauce with cabbage is not fun going the wrong way! UGH The next day, I decided to advise the restaurant so they could check into their safe handling practices (and perhaps talk to the kitchen staff on duty). I could have just posted it on social media, but I realize these things can happen and as a courtesy to them, I told them that I didn't turn to social media as a courtesy to them. When the manager (or owner?) returned my call, there was not a word mentioned to say that they were sorry I got sick, but didn't think it would be their food. He launched into how it could not possibly be caused by their food. I asked why it was room temperature but he just kept telling me that everything is kept at proper temperatures and I would have gotten sick within 2 HOURS. So, knowing this is not always the case, I found some information about food born illness and have posted them below. It is really unfortunate that this restaurant was not able to "hear me" until I said I would just report it to the health department since it seemed they were not open to hear about a potential problem. After that, they responded to me in a more appropriate and professional way, but too little too late. Unfortunately, this experience has ruined the brisket experience for me. I don't think I could handle eating it EVER again. Be safe out there - if you think there is a problem -...

This troubles me to write this, but I am left with no alternative! Decided to get the office lunch and walk over since it is only three blocks away. First mistake, it is 95 degree's outside. Second mistake not looking at order while I was standing in the restaurant. I assumed that with two ladies running the front counter and no other customers they could get my order right, nope to busy talking to each other to worry about my order. Of course, get back to the shop and I specifically asked for one of each flavors of sauce so everyone could try and decide which they liked best since this was our first visit here. I open the bag and there are only three little cups in there, one for each sauce. That won't go very far. I march back over there and asked them how they dropped they ball on that. Don't know, we are sorry, that will be 25 cents each for these. Wow screwed my order up and charged me for the sauce anyway. I didn't have time to argue, paid for the sauce and left. Got back to the shop and sat down to eat and guess what? They shorted us a sandwich! Wow, another trip back. Here you go we are sorry. Where is the manager, I have had enough of this! Manager is not here, we can call him if you like... I do have to give credit where it is due... The food and the sauce was very good! That is the only reason they got two stars instead of one. Doubt I'll...
