DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!!! 1. I went through the drive through and asked how much the 2 piece fish and fries basket was and was told it was $7.49. I proceeded to order 2 baskets. When I made it around to the payment window, she informed me that the price went up and that my total was now about $20. So I guess from the time I drove around until the time I made it to the window, which was about 30 seconds…. The price went up! OK no worries I switched my order a little because I could get more for that price. They then told me to pull around and park in the front of the restaurant and they would bring my food out FRESH!!! We waited for 20 minutes!!! Received the food went home only to find out that 1. My green beans were not in the bag 2. this food is nowhere Near fresh! It’s not even hot to the touch!!! I can’t even squeeze my hush puppies because they are so hard and old!!!!!!! I called and spoke with Bianca, the manager on duty, and she told me there is nothing she can do about the quality of my food!!!! She didn’t offer to remake it. She didn’t ask my name. She didn’t ask me if I wanted a refund!!!! This place has went downhill and there is no coming back from it. They should have remained closed! They need to train their employees in the area of customer service and empathy, especially when they are at fault!!! Per BIANCA the reason is because they have a new kid!!!! I’m DISGUSTED!!!!! I asked the associate why there's no post at window saying only cash. Didn't get no response. So I said okay. I'm gonna let that slide although it wasn't posted at drive thru. I went to Krogers to take money out. I got back to Long Johns at 8:40 and proceeded to order my meal then the cashier says they are not cooking ANYMORE FISH. Read moreWe love LJS. We used to go all the time before they closed for the remodel. The first time in there last month the cashier told me there was no claim meal, only a clam basket. I reluctantly ordered that and researched it and it was still on the menu online. Last.night we tried again and the cashier said nope no clam meal. So I said ok I want a clam basket. Nope we don't have that either. I was thoroughly fed up at this point and raised my voice with her. Whoever the manager was that was there was top notch. She stepped up and explained she was sorry they do have clam baskets and meals. I explained what had occurred and she showed the girl how to ring it up. I will now carry that receipt with me for the next visit. Lack of training? Lazy employees? I don't know but ya'll want 15.00 an hour? how about some customer service.
