Strange experience all around. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Had plans for our church youth group eating lunch here before going to an event down the road 1.5 hours later. I arrived first with plans on ordering the pizza for dine-in to be getting prepared while we waited on everyone else to arrive. I ordered 2 pizzas that were advertised on the windows, then asked if there were any specials. She (manager?) said the deals were online only, and I should place my order there. Ok, I said I'll go ahead with these first 2 pizzas, and I'll order the rest on my phone. I placed my online order, saw my name on the screen, then "thought" I had acknowledged with her that I had placed the online order that she suggested. Not too much time later, she gives me the first 2 pizzas I ordered. I asked her how the drinks would work: should I go ahead and put an order in for a quantity and the kids would get their drinks when they arrive, or would she prefer that the kids order them in person. That's when she shared with me that dine-in was closed since COVID. I guess I showed a look of surprise, and she tried to explain to me that a lot of businesses hadn't reopened dine-in yet (I don't know about that). But then she offered to allow us to sit in dine-in, they just couldn't serve us. Well, that will work. It's just pizza, right. The kids arrive, order their bottled drinks (since fountain drinks are closed), and sat down to eat the first 2 pizzas. I asked if they had plates or napkins and she said they did, then handed me 3 for our group of 15. I asked for enough so that all 15 could have a plate, and she brought them out. The entire time she acted like we were bothering her. We really wanted to leave, but we didn't have time for a backup plan. Finally, she has an order to give out, and I approach her to take it, but she says it's not for me, it's for someone else who arrived after we did. I asked her how my order was doing, and she wanted to know what order. I pointed to the screen with my name on it, and said it was the online order she asked me to place. She said oh that order's been ready the whole time you've been here, I didn't know that was for you. She acted like it was my fault for not telling her. I didn't even argue. You just have to shake your head at this level of incompetence. None of us will ever come back to...
Read moreI visited the Pizza Hut on Jefferson street in Newnan ga. Today we ordered online so our food would be ready upon arrival! Once we entered the store I was at first ignored for several minutes, the cashier/ oven operator came over finally to see how she could assist us! She was wearing a pair of gloves she had been preparing food while wearing them, she touched the register, the ink pen for us to sign with with these gloves then immediately goes back to work wearing the same gloves! I then witnessed her rub her back side (rear end) with the same gloves then touch my daughters food! I asked her to change her gloves and pointed out everything she had touched with her gloves Tracy was her name! She then decided to argue with me that she had not touched any of those things yet still hadn’t changed her gloves! She then asked me to wait outside for our second order to be prepared I asked why do I have to wait outside for the second one and not the first! I then asked for the manager jasmine the manager came out I explained the situation it tried to at least Tracy then decided to start yelling over me and the manager I told Tracy I was no longer talking to her she would not stop yelling about the fact that she wears gloves I then yelled that’s why you wash your hands! Tracy then walked off. I told the manager that I have a problem every time I come in that store her reply was “ because you get an attitude” Tracy then begins walking through the back of the store slamming pans I told the manager she needed to control Tracy I was told she can’t be disciplined in front of me! We were refunded our money but we will never return to this store again!!! Point is it is always important to wash your hands and change your gloves especially during these times when we all have fear in us of contracting COVID-19! I certainly hope both staff member as well as manager are trained in proper hygiene as well as customer service skills they both...
Read moreAfter not ordering Pizza Hut for a very long time, My family and I decided to try Pizza Hut on 2 separate occasions within the last 2 weeks. The first time we placed an order over the phone for pickup and confirmed twice that the store was open for pickup orders. We were assured that they would be open for about another 2 hours twice. We completed the order, paid, and headed to the restaurant. Within a few minutes we were called back and told that the call center took our order on accident and they were in fact not open for taking any more orders. My second attempt ordering, we ordered curbside delivery earlier this week and I could not have been any more disappointed. We had our order set to be ready at 6pm. I had a sleeping toddler in the back seat and was on my way home from work so I thought curbside would be perfect. I arrived a few minutes early and called twice to let the restaurant know I was there. The first time I was hung up on and the second time I was on hold for 5 minutes just to talk to a call center who informed me my order was ready and would be out soon. After waiting 15 minutes (6:20) and seeing countless people receive their orders before me when my order was supposed to be ready at 6, I called my boyfriend (who called in the order) to call. When he called, he was told that we were supposed to call in when we were there... which I did and they even confirmed my order and said it was ready and would be out soon. At about 6:35 I finally received my order. I now remember why I stopped going to Pizza Hut years ago now. I'm very upset because I had Pizza Hut pizza at a birthday party about a month ago and it was delicious so I was excited to give it another shot. After having 2 back to back poor experiences at this location, I will probably not...
