I visited this Waffle House on Christmas Eve night to place a to-go order at about 9pm. I have to say that I didn't expect the best experience going in since it was Christmas Eve, however the service and efficiency was severely lacking. We ordered 3 sanwhiches and 2 waffles and it took 45 minutes to receive our order. I'm sure the restaurant was probably just overwhelmed from what I'm sure was an entire day packed of customers out shopping. Nonetheless, the staff just seemed so unorganized and chaotic that it resulted in extremely long wait times for every customer and several incorrect orders. Almost every person in front of us was missing part of their order or received the wrong item. Our personal order was very inconsistent. We ordered 3 sanwhiches, all completed differently. The proportions seemed off comparatively, only one was served with 1 packet of mayo, one had no pickles, and one had a very long strand of hair to the point we could not eat it. The only saving grace they had was one young blonde (whose name I unfortunately cannot remember) who was a complete rockstar. She managed to help every single person whether by greeting them, taking orders, checking out, expediting orders, answering the phone, and most of the time, doing all of the above. If not for her, I feel like every single customer would have been highly upset and service have taken twice as long. The food itself of course was good as any other time I've visited a WH. As stated, maybe service lacked because it was the holiday rush which is understandable, but the level of staff efficiency and order consistancy definitely needs to...
Read moreMe and my husband stopped to grab a bite to eat at this location cause we were on this side of town paying a bill. I had been craving waffle house so we went here. It was late afternoon when we went. The only people here was a customer (an elderly man), the waitress and the cook which was an elderly lady (I've never been in a waffle house with a cook like her). The server was so nice( I didn't catch her name) and the cook, the elderly lady was so sweet, our food was great! I got my husband to play some tunes on the jukebox and me and the server were singing away! This was the best experience I've ever had at a waffle house! The elderly lady cook even asked us how our food was while we were eating and I've never had one ask that but of course it being a elderly woman that cooked it it was delicious! I tipped the server and the elderly lady cook. We pass another waffle house on the south side of town own the way home to Greenville, GA and it's never been that great. I'm so glad we chose to eat at this one! If the higher ups visit this waffle house on temple Avenue in newnan ga please recognize the server and cook that worked the afternoon of December 1st I believe was the day. ...
Read moreThis waffle house is usually so amazing, but this last trip was horrible and since this waffle house has not answered their phones all day I am leaving this review. today my husband and i stopped to get some waffle house to bring to his parents for breakfast. We got there at 11 and my husband went in while i sat in the car with our dog. He came out an hour later with the food and said he had to place the order twice because they lost it the first time. Which no big deal, it's a sunday and the church crowd was about to start rolling in. Then when we got to the house we realized they did not put gravy on my father in laws hash brown bowl like we requested. I can even ignore that but the final straw was mixing up my grits and finding an entire piece of a jelly packet mixed in my grits. It was the corner like somebody opened the packet and just threw away their trash into my food. I tried to call just to get a new side of grits or something but they never answered so i ended up having to just throw the whole thing away. Why have a phone to not answer it, and why would you allow literal trash to be in a...
