Gelato is one of those irresistible desserts that, once the craving hits, nothing else quite satisfies. While a spontaneous flight to Italy would be the dream, most of us have to settle for something a little closer to home. Thatâs where Bacio di Latte comes in. This charming little shop offers a taste of authentic Italian gelato that comes surprisingly close to the real thing. Tucked away but always bustling, itâs clear that word has gotten outâbe prepared to wait in line. But trust me, itâs worth every minute.
The flavors are rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced, with classic options like pistachio, stracciatella, and hazelnut, alongside seasonal and creative varieties that rotate regularly. Whether youâre a gelato connoisseur or just craving a sweet escape, Bacio di Latte delivers an experience that transports you straight to the cobblestone streets of Florence or Rome. The staff are not only efficient and attentive but also genuinely warm and welcoming, making the wait feel a little shorter and a lot sweeter.

Read moreThis gelato is seriously AMAZING! We lived in Italy and can confirm this gelato is the real deal and tastes just like it does there. It's an upscale location - beautiful interior and exterior, located in Fashion Island ( next to Whole Foods facing a huge parking lot).
They make their waffle cones fresh and on the spot, so it comes warm when you get a cone. We got the nocciola and pistachio flavors and honestly it was really really good, both were super tasty, very quality. It had a creamy milky thick texture to it and it wasn't overly sweet like American ice cream but it was definitely sweet and delectable - fine dining / upscale dessert vibes.
Of course this is top-tier gelato, with a rich and creamy consistency, bursting with flavor. The part that impressed me the most is their variety in flavors. They had many different great flavors to choose from with few that are rotating, so it's great to try new ones.
The employees are extremely friendly and assist with suggestions for flavor combinations. We have felt very welcomed and appreciated.
Honestly this is the best gelato in Orange County and we highly...

The flavors are so rich and distinct, it does not taste generic whatsoever. Best pistachio flavor I've ever had, I ALWAYS get the pistachio flavor. I would like to buy a pint of it but for $14 I think that's super expensive đł. I had pistachio, the Torta di Limone (not the lemon sorbet), and Belgian Chocolate with pieces of sugar cone all in a waffle bowl. I think I found my favorite combination of flavors, and I want to go at least once more this summer because the chocolate flavor I mentioned is "limited time." Another plus, they let you sample flavors. Downsides: the price, location (so far and its almost pointless to try and accumulate rewards points unless you live close), the line can be very long depending on when you go (I usually go at night on a weekend). They are pretty good about getting you your ice cream quick, I'd say it's worth the wait. It's one of those things where as soon as you finish eating it you wish you could go back in time to eat...
