The manager in this location is not only rude but expects not to work. I brought my Meta glasses in for repair as they lost a screw. I had LensCrafters try to fix them since they are the ones that put in the lenses and they put in a screw, but it was the wrong one and now the glasses donât work so I wanted Ray-Ban to send them into the manufacture and have them fix as they are only six months old. The manager from the store called LensCrafters for one reason and another. Theyâre not sure why they came back to tell me that LensCrafters would have to be the one to fix them. The Ray-Ban does not fix glasses, even if you purchased them from Ray-Ban and theyâre not under warranty. Ray-Ban will not fix your glasses. Ray-Ban does not cover the glasses unless theyâre under warranty as the only time that they will cover them. The manager became very rude and was telling me how I should be grateful for her that she went out of her way to call LensCrafters for me. I never ask her to call LensCrafters. I thought she was calling Raven to find out what would be the next step in getting my glasses fixed. I donât care if theyâre under warranty or not. I just wanna get them repaired. Iâll pay for it thatâs not a question but she says the Ray-Ban will refuse to repair them and I should be grateful for all the work that she put in trying to figure out what to do Which made me become very angry as I did not ask her to do any of that I just wanted to get them sent into Ray-Ban to get them fixed. She asked me to leave the store threw me out the store in my wheelchair that I was not allowed in the store because I raise my voice to her after sheâs the one that raised her voice to me telling me that I should be grateful and all the work that sheâs done.    Read moreI was extremely disgusted with the service at Raybans, Newport Beach. I came to the store looking to exchange a pair of Raybans that were purchased online. The pair I was originally looking to exchange them with wasnât available in store and he said in order to get the pair I wanted, I would need to return the purchase and rebuy the ones online. I had the receipt present and had clarified from the beginning that they were given as a gift and purchased on a different card so I would just want to do an exchange or put a gift card. Both my mother and I were under the impression that the âreturn / re-buyâ was only meant for exchanges, in which the other item I was exchanging it for was not purchased in store. So I found a pair in store I liked and asked if I could exchange them. The associate said yes and without further clarification, he went in returned them even after I explained from the start that I did not want them put back on the original card. The associate did not try to help or resolve the problem. I tried asking if he can void the sale and he said he can shoot an email over to someone later to see if they could. He also made a comment saying âyouâre not the customer, your friend is cause it was purchased on his card.â So apparently, no one should ever be gifted a pair of Raybans and expect exceptional customer service. Iâve worked in sales all my life and in retail at a very young age, never would I think thatâs an appropriate comment. If he was clear from the policy from the start and assertive, I would have bought another pair no problem but there was no way I was giving that store my money after that.
