I went to see Daniella Faubion for roots, haircut, and full balayage. There were red flags from the start. To begin with, I was not honored the price I was quoted at booking. Rather, Daniella substantially raised the price. Despite that, I went with the services booked (minus the haircut) as I had already taken the day off from work to be there. Unfortunately, I left the salon with hues of ash green babylights as opposed to the caramel/light brown balayage I requested. To make things worse, the next morning I noted grey hair on my hairline. I am aware that things do go wrong, and I believe in giving people a second chance. Unfortunately, Daniella took my request for a resolution personally and refused to see me again and do corrections. Notably, this was the first time she ever worked on my hair. What is worse, she acted rather childish, impolite, and unprofessionally when she sent me a long text full of personal insults and attacks. She went as far as to mention another stylist in the salon (who has never worked on my hair) did not wish to see me and was going to cancel my haircut appointment. I am in shock and still recovering from this negative experience, especially after paying $510 dollars for badly done roots/foilyage. Something like this would never happen at a classy and reputable salon! Money comes and goes, but nasty attitudes and poor customer service are forever...
