The food and coffee are pretty good, and the staff is generally great. Even though there are only about a dozen seats in the whole place, it's pretty spacious and there's good natural light and air circulation. There also appear to be wall outlets. Miraculously, of the dozens of times I've come here, even during the lunch rush, there's almost always been a spot to sit and do work. I have a theory why, and this is why I came here to write this review.

The music they play is some of the worst, most disposable pop music ever produced. Dear god they're playing the All American Rejects' "Gives You Hell" rn. Of the many hours I've spent here, they have not played one song that hasn't made me wonder why I didn't already have my headphones on. It's breathtaking how consistent they are about this! It makes me think that maybe do it intentionally to encourage turnover. I've been meaning to write this PSA for a while, but have learned to wipe my memory as soon as I leave, and, besides, there aren't enough coffee shops around here so I can't be so blasé about disqualifying one.
