Thrive Juice Lab — Restaurant in Newport Beach

Would have loved it but felt the discrimination immediately. I am a young black woman came here dressed normally, had braids at the time, and came with my friend. We ordered what we wanted and the girl working the day immediately asked if we were taking it to go as though she did not want me in particular to stay and enjoy my drink there as I don't fit the typical Newport beach look. And, said we were eating/drinking indoors/for here she looked super disappointed why am I not surprised. And, the cherry on top this other customer took it upon herself when I was seated with my friend to break her neck to stare at me like bending her back to look over her partner for over 5 minutes straight even when caught she continued. No one in the shop did anything just let the behavior continue. Honestly, would not be back, and would not recommend it as a POC friendly...

I have been to Thrive several times at this location and I would highly recommend the products they have. The smoothies, bowls, juice, and snack/food items are delicious. A bit pricey but seem on track for the area and the food quality/organic/raw. My only complaint is that with the current ordering system where you wait outside sometimes they forget to confirm with you that they got your whole order when they give it to you. Today my friend ordered 2 of the same smoothie (plus my order of the Blue Laguna, 10/10 by the way) and had to step away so she had me wait for both of our orders. They only gave me one of her smoothies and walked away. I ended up having to tell them that there were two of the same smoothie in the order and wait extra time for...

This place is so refreshing! All the options are quite delicious... and healthy! Pretty much everything on the menu is plant based, so it’s very clean eating. Customer service is extremely friendly and informative too. They use 100% organic produce, which really delivers high quality taste and nutrients.
