Bonnie's Espresso — Restaurant in Newport

I gladly spent about $200-$300 a month (not including $1-$5 tips faithfully) on delicious drinks here. Always got the large 32 Oz. and would just share it with my boo. Bonnie's was out of large 32 ounce cups the last time I went but instead of simply offering me two Smalls16 ounce cups (SAME AS 32 Ounces) at the same price as a large, she wanted to punish ME for her being out of large cups by charging me for two Smalls.. Wow. I could never do that to any customer faithful or not. As a matter of principle, I stopped going there altogether. But my friend said that she stopped making drinks the same way or at least they certainly tasted a lot different shortly after I stopped...

I never write negative reviews, but I do want to warn others if they like drip coffee to skip this one. Weakest coffee I have ever paid $3 for, so weak that I had to add instant coffee to it so that it didn’t just taste like hot water and half and half.

I brought my own cup, and she didn’t believe me when I said it was 16oz, so she used a disposable cup to measure the coffee to make sure (turns out it was 16oz), so I left feeling like what was the point of...

I stopped by this coffee shop on my way out of the area. I ordered a 24oz hot Breve with only 2 shots and sugar free vanilla and almond flavoring. I got down the road and realized that it was just warm half and half. This lady didn’t put anything in this drink! Make sure when you go there to taste the drink before you drive off.
