Again another good Cracker Barrel. These are always been my favourite breakfast / brunch places. We stopped by this one while driving back from Smokies in the long weekend. I was afraid initially, that we might have to wait for long time. However the wait time was 5-7 minutes. So we got the table within that time. Like every other time the place was completely packed. Honestly I have never seen any Cracker Barrel without being packed! The server lady was sweet. I got a strawberry lemonade which was refilled twice. The meatloaf I ordered was good. The biscuits SD corn muffins were fresh and soft as usual. The chicken fries were absolutely amazing. The pancakes were super fluffy. In conclusion, the meal was superb. The restrooms are nicely maintained as usual.

6/05/22 Enjoyed a late lunch today enroute to Pigeon Forge Tennessee. Our server Patience was a lovely young woman who made sure we had everything we wanted. We also enjoyed meeting David who welcomed us here and made us feel at home on our visit. I had a really good vegetable plate with cornbread. Cracker Barrel has delicious pinto beans & turnip greens with chow chow relish and sweet onio, fried okra and macaroni cheese rounded my lunch. My friend Mary enjoyed scrambled eggs with sawmill gravy and biscuits. We tried the watermelon lemonade and liked it so much we hot a half gallon to take with us our cabin rental. We really love this Cracker Barrel location!

There was a little bit of a wait, until a waiter from another section came to attend to us, but Jordan, he went above and Beyond! He was quick, witty, funny, attentive, and had the absolute BEST advice about the menu! I'm SO GLAD I listened to him about the entree (the chicken was SO tender and juicy, and the tomatoes and fresh chives were the Perfect touch!!), and the fried okra-WAY better than any hashbrowns, no matter how smothered in toppings, could have been- the best fried okra I've ever had! Thank you for a WONDERFUL experience, JORDAN! I'll ask for you next time! 😊

This is my first ever review! Two nights in a row our order has been incorrect!

Patiently waiting in line, when my turn was available, I ask for a to-go order to be placed. The hostess said, “I have been told, you will have to wait approximately 35 minutes before your order can be submitted”. Told her that can’t be correct, “it is sir”. Told her I would place the order online and it will not take us waiting an hour for our food.

Last night, 10/6/23, we ordered online and still had to wait an addition 30 minutes past the time of pickup. Simple order of two pot pies. Walked back in to pick up the order, Sitting on the shelf was a big note that read “out of pot pies” with only one in the bag. Knowing our phone number is listed on the order we placed. No one bothered to let us know. Then we were told, we are out of cornbread so we gave you biscuits instead. Finally got the order of substitutions.

One mistake of disappointment, yet we attempted again tonight, 10/7/23, ordered online and received notification that our order was ready. Ordered two more pot pies. Sitting on the shelf was only one pot pie when we were given our food. Asked about why we were short, oh we were completely out of pot pies. Guess Cracker Barrel was going to take our money and short our order hoping we wouldn’t notice. Complete disregard to their customers!!!

We did not cause a scene in front of other patrons. Simply asked for our money to be refunded! Only asked for the refund of the items we did not receive. Both times these orders were made, they were made way in advance instead of an hour of closing. No reason for two nights of incomplete orders!

If I could give 10 STARS to the employee, Randall, I would. This person went beyond his role as an employee to make sure our needs were met. In my opinion, if this location had more employees like him, the service would be incredible. He deserves recognition for his service and I’m sure Cracker Barrel will not...

Today was the second time that I had eaten at this Cracker Barrel in Newport, TN. My first experience was a year ago. I ordered the strawberry cheesecake pancakes, sausage patties and eggs over easy. I asked the waitress if I could substitute the strawberries for blueberries which she said, absolutely. All hands down, that was the best breakfast I ever tasted. I was able to bring half of it home due to the generous portions I was served. I was beyond impressed with the entire experience. Today was a completely different experience and a disappointment. I was looking forward to ordering the same meal that I previously ordered a year ago. I asked the waitress if I could substitute the strawberries for blueberries, she informed me that they didn't have blueberries for a topping. She did tell me that they could prepare blueberry pancakes with the cheesecake filling and top it off with blueberry syrup. I told her that would be great. I ordered the sausage patties, eggs over easy and a side of the hash brown casserole. I waited for over an hour to receive my order. I was brought strawberry cheesecake pancakes, sausage patties and eggs that were cooked over hard. The food was cold, not a single blueberry in sight and forgot the side of the hash brown casserole. Not sure what is happening with Cracker Barrel. For a entire year I went out of my way to tell people about the amazing experience I had with Cracker Barrel. I won't set foot into this Cracker Barrel again. What a...

Unfortunately this was our second and last stop at this Cracker Barrel. The first time the service was so poor we were given our meal by the manager. But any restaurant can have a bad day so we tried again. We were seated and initially waited on immediately, but then waited over 30 minutes for our meal. Although the restaurant was not particularly busy, I figured the wait time may be due to multiple guests coming in at the same time which can overwhelm kitchen staff for a bit. However, that obviously was not the case as our food was cold and the biscuits were hard when brought to our table indicating it sat for awhile waiting to be picked up and brought out. Our waitress did not come back out to check on us for at least ten minutes. She then took our plates and the manager brought fresh plates about 15 minutes later. I don't think the cooks were happy because my eggs were not cooked to order and my husband's eggs had shells (or something) in them. He gave up trying to pick the shells out and just left most of the eggs. Our waitress was not very attentive at all until I finally went to the kitchen myself to get the incidentals we wanted. We spent a total of two hours after seating getting breakfast at a time when the restaurant was barely half full. In the restaurant business at this price point this is an unacceptable...
