Monterrey Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Newport

We were seated and before we could look at menu the waiter was asking for our order. The whole experience was rushed. We got our food and was never asked if we needed a refill on drinks or if we required anything else. I nearly had time to take 5 bites of food when the waiter threw the check on the table and asked how many to go boxes was needed. My food arrived Luke warm and not hot and sizzling as fajitas usually do. There were younger women at the next table that was treated great by same waiter and myself being older was left feeling as I was a bother instead of a paying customer. To go boxes was tossed on the table leaving me feeling as if I was to leave immediately. I was there approximately a total of 15 minutes. Going out to eat should be a relaxing experience where you are being able to enjoy your food as well as being waited on by a courteous person. The guy who brought us our food just threw it down on the table in front of us in a very rude mannor. The service was very poor, the waitress was so bad that for the first time in my life I didn't want to leave a tip. Normally I leave a $20 this time I left a $5. The place was mediocre clean. The cashier didn't ask how our meal was instead he snacthed, yes actually snatched the bill out of my hand and rung it up. The worst part was the food was over cooked and dried out. It left a horrible after taste. The only reason I ate it was because I had been driving for 6 1/2 hours and was extremely hungry. So I forced it down. It was literally the worst mexican food and experience I have ever had from a Mexican restaurant and I travel the country regularly, I've ate at mexican restaurants from east coast all the way to the west coast.I wish there was a negative star rating on google because that's what this place deserve. Food came out suspiciously fast and tasted just okay. Enchiladas were over cooked and rice was pretty salty. Service was not great. They were busy but not THAT busy. Waiter was quick to get our drink orders but disappeared without asking if we were ready or even had any questions. So, we were stuck waiting a bit while we were already ready to put in our order. We finished the table salsa before our food came out but the bowl just sat there and he didn't even offer us more or ask if we wanted more, just set down our food down and disappeared again for awhile. He did check on the food a couple times after awhile but then disappeared into the kitchen while everyone else was on the floor when all of our plates were stacked on the edge of the table.
