Not a favorite but it's so-so....too greasy and the employees smoke like felons, dont have the greatest hygiene, they all do drugs just about it with exception of a few and they treated their maintenance worker like a dog or a slave would've been a better term to use for that kind of treatment. The staff and managers at McDonald's Newport, TN location would 90% of the time call upon this one certain maintenance worker who was already trying to catch up doing the maintenance workers jobs from day shift they didn't bother to do but then on top of that and without complaint this maintenance man would be called on to do the worst of the worst jobs every single time. For example, there is urine in the mens bathroom beside one of the urinals that has overtime splattered and literally dried and cakes up into a big yellow mound of disgusting urine in the corner beside said urinal and this maintenance man was called on to scrub that clean with his sponge and gloved hands of course then another day someone left a syringe in the mens bathroom and who do they call to go get it out....? Wild guess? The same maintenance man again and then another time there is feces in the stalls of the mens or women's bathroom ...cant remember which but again he was called on to go clean that up as well. I constantly thought is there not another worker or maintenance man who can be called to rotate out with such grotesque tasks as these?? I think that would only be fair as to not make an employee feel singled out or like they are being called on for the lowest assignments and tasks because they are thought little of and they don't mind putting these disgusting duties on this kind hard working young man. I literally am so disgusted with McDonald's of any kind in general ...but I have literal true stories of McDonald's horror stories that would make you never eat another french fry from that place again. I mean these are unspeakable unfathomable acts that the staff and managers have participated in but not at this local Newport McDonald's, at least not that I know of but other McDonald's stretched out all across the united states. There has even been one instance of a young boy about 16 yr old witnessing the entire staff at one McDonald's, somewhere in the Midwest U.S.spitting in the food and urinating in the sodas and also one manager cutting her finger and putting blood on the burgers as ketchup. This is the entire staff and restaurant doing these gross unspeakable things. The boy who saw this had already consumed his food and thought his burger had a metallic or iron like taste to it, he said like he tasted at times during his dentist appt. At the time of realization, his parents and siblings were not finished eating yet but the boy became dizzy and sick so he fainted into the floor and hit his head on the hard concrete ground where he got a concussion and woke up in the hospital without having told anyone what he witnessed prior. When he spoke up to his parents after waking they immediately knew he was telling the truth because of his behavior and the fainting plus they saw his expressions right before he fell but by that time it was too late and the evidence had been eaten, or thrown away, and they didn't have any proof other than a 16 year old boys testimony. They lost going up against McDonald's with their high priced attorneys and such. If only he hadn't fainted and had been able to photo the gruesome mess of food with blood, hair, urine and only God knows what all. I mean there are too many sickos and evil people in the world right now for me to trust anyone I don't know to handle my food. No thanks. I think I will cook safely at home for the rest of my life! I would suggest everyone else to do the same! Btw... this is only the tip of the iceberg with these fast food chains and it's not just McDonald's but other fast food chains also and it's all across the United States and out of the country as well, in some cases but mostly within the United States. So embarrassing and...
Read moreWhen me and my pal first pulled up for McDonaldâs we were hyped- itâs a rarity for us to be up early enough to experience the delicacy that is an egg McMuffin or breakfast burrito ever since corporate revoked 24/7 breakfast privileges. We were even more excited when we saw that the breakfast sandwich deal was better than that in Michigan (where we are from). We pull up and the employee informs us that the egg McMuffin is indeed included in the 2 sandwiches for $4.25 deal. I shouldâve known it was too good to be true because as my friend ordered it was evident this employee had no clue what she was talking about. We pull up to the window to pay and are greeted by the manager who tells us that the egg McMuffin is indeed not included in the $4.25 deal and is trying to encourage me to change my mind. âScrew itâ I say as I fork over a crisp $10 bill- how often do we get McDonaldâs breakfast? We receive our order, I immediately slurp up the caramel iced coffee- itâs delicious. I dive into the bag ready to chow down on the crown jewel of the meal- the egg McMuffin. I unwrap it from its yellow bondage before my friend exclaims exactly what Iâm thinking- âwhy is it so small?!â Because it was stale. The English muffin was harder than a rock. I was willing to look over being scammed out of the 2 for $4.25 breakfast deal but yaâll served me a stale McMuffin and for that I can...
Read moreI don't know if this was an off night for the employees or if this is how it normally is but the experience was not enjoyable I'm sorry to say. The service was extremely slow (both to order and receive food), the employees looked like they were miserable working there and confused as to what was going on. When I received my food it was missing items and not packaged/presented well. My burger was drenched with mayo and the fries tasted and looked like they had been sitting there awhile. The trash in all the trash bins I could see were overflowing and I had to compact the trash down to get my trash in there. When the trash was finally emptied, there was some trash left on the floor which I picked up myself because it bothered me too much to be in a McDonald's like this with my kids. The drink and condiment station was in need of work. The ketchup dispenser was not working and was dirty. I was hoping that this would be a restaurant I could favorite on my maps because it had a playground that my kids could play on as a stop while we were traveling by on trips through this area but after this experience I will not...
