You know, I’m not one to really complain about anything. But, I feel people need to know (whether it matters to you, or not) that the Taco Bell off of Northwest Blvd in Newton needs to have a real conversation with their managers about handling situations. Their staff is doing an excellent job and I understand that things can get misunderstood in the drive thru. We had items rung up that were not correct. We looked at the receipt and was over charged. So, we told the guy, “hey, man. Not to be a pain, but we had some things rang up wrong.” He apologized meaningfully and went to his shift manager to fix it. She processed the refund and rang up the right food, making us pay the difference. No biggie. When we asked for a receipt for a refund, we were told we couldn’t have it. We asked the young man if we could take a picture of it. He asked his manager, who became irritated about us wanting to have proof of our purchase. She said she couldn’t give us the receipt and just take a picture of it. I said, “that isn’t what we’re asking. We’re asking if we can take a picture of the receipt, just in case something messes up.” She proceeds to tell my wife to “relax and you don’t have to get an attitude about it.” Runs to the back and grabs the receipt, gripping it firmly like I’m going to snatch it. Mistakes happen. But in my life, I’ve learned that customer service is important and great service doesn’t go unnoticed. The young gentleman working the window: you were fantastic and respectful. You did everything you could at your level. The manager, however, was the rudest person I have ever done a transaction with, all because she had to handle an administrative part of her job when a simple misunderstanding and refund needed to be handled, for us to PAY for the food we originally wanted. Yes, less money, but it doesn’t take away from the principle of it all. If you can’t handle yourself (I.e., your emotions) and maintain a proper decorum with your leadership position, I feel you are unfit for that position. That is your responsibility and you are expected to lead by that example. It’s sad when a shift worker can maintain better professionalism than you. To top it all off: the food was cold and not cooked well. I will not spend another dime at that location. Not all Taco Bell’s have that problem. But, this location will not...
Read moreIf I could put a negative star rating I would! On Friday, Feb 4th 4:20-4:50pm, I had gone thru the drive thru to place my order when a guy who had a rude tone to his voice ask what i'd like to have. I said; one large baja blast, one large cup of water W/O ice, and a soft shell taco part pack with sour cream. He followed with would you prefer to make it a surpreme taco party pack which i said no at first because I didnt see the price differences. Then once I seen the sour cream costed 6 dollars extra I asked him to simply take that off the order and I wanted plain tacos party pack. Then he had the audacity to cut me off and told me to pull around to the window. So I simy pulled up and then I told the guy at the window what I said and what had happened and he was polite at first then he started to cuss and slammed the window and yelling at the guy who took our order in front of us. Then i was really flustered so I told them I paid for whatever they had put and ill just go on because the line was getting longer behind me. I finally got my food then drove away and realized he didnt even hand me a receipt but I had my dog in the back of the car so I had to hurry home. Once i had gotten home I opebed my box which suppose to have 12 soft shell tacos which did not. Instead it had 12 hard shell tacos that was plan and all of their shells were broken which I first was upset but maybe they just missed heard me then I bit into one and it was cold and stale. Even the meat was cold! I soon tried to call the store which i didnt expect for them to pick up right away because they seem to be busy. I called few times around 10 minutes apart, and the fourth time I called and the phone made a weird scanning tone and said the phone wasnt in service so im assuming that the phone was unplugged. So I had to leave this review hoping the district manager find this and give me some...
Read moreThe past few times that I have been in there with my grandson we've had the worst service ever no one wants to take your order eight or nine people standing in the back not one person can come to the front to take an order they come and say use the kiosk... the past two times I've been in there they've got the food wrong... today they left out five different items and when I went up to show them my receipt the guy making the food was eating off the line with gloves on and then telling me that he made the order that I was lying.... I proceeded to have a Taco Bell cashier go over to my table count the items on the table and she told them that I was right and he was argumentative so I asked to speak to the manager and the manager said she wasn't coming up there... to give me what I want... it's not what I wanted... it's what I paid for!! I will be calling corporate... my grandson was terrified so bad he didn't want to even eat and I will never set foot in that Taco Bell (Newton) again ever!!! if you can't hire the proper people to do the job and train them to take care of the customer properly then they don't need to be in there.... it does not take nine people to run a drive-through line or a cooks line... I know that's my background... get it right or close it down for all I care.. Worst fast food ever!! BTW there was a young kind girl working and she kept apologizing and as I told her thank you but it's not your fault.... that was the ONLY positive thing in...
