Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Niceville

3 delivery drivers and 2 hrs is all it took to get a Hungry Howie's pizza. After they FINALLY made the delivery, the manager called to tell us how none of it was their fault. They had no idea where Ernie's Dockside cafe is located - one of the big restaurants along the bayou.

I can understand the 1st driver having difficulty. However, they obviously didn't ask the people who lived in the house they delivered to where the marina was ... it was literally right next door.

We called to find out where the pizza was. They said the driver couldn't find us; but, they'd send ANOTHER driver out to deliver a fresh order. Eons later ... they called and said this driver couldn't find it. My wife was standing in the parking lot and didn't even see their vehicle come by. The driver never called us for directions.

They finally sent someone who knew where we were. When my wife finally calmed down, she called to complain. At every step, it was our fault. They had no concept of taking any responsibility. What happened to customer service? Or, the customer is always right? There was no offer to give us a discount or ANYTHING in recompense.

This place was an awesome find for us. We stopped him to grab dinner because the kids wanted pizza and this place did not did not disappoint. We ordered a large meat lovers, a half pepperoni and half mushroom, a large Italian sub and cheese bread. The season crust is new to me and was amazing. We got the Cajun crust which added just enough kick to the pizza to add to its taste but not overpower it. Sub was surprisingly good, but not your traditional sub it was not served on a sub bun but a folded in half pizza crust which was great also. The cheesy bread was excellent with the marinara and my daughter was impressed by the garlic butter. Since we're from not around here we'd never had this chain before but I wish they had it where we lived because we would visit often. Second review.....we ordered a pizza online and it was only 18.76. After I climb in bed and look at my charges pending, they charged me 22.57. So I called them and got the manager on the phone and he said he looked at the front register and online and that it says that we were only charged 18.75. That he doesn't know why my bank statement says we were charged the 22.57!! So I said I was going to speak to the owner and got her email address. Then hung up. About 5 min later I called back and asked them to send me a picture of the receipt where my daughter signed her name and they said ok. Still havent received it!!! I dont want to accuse someone of pocketing money they shouldnt be, but its not looking to good!!! You can bet the BBB will hear about this !!!!
