Shame on Popeyes for getting everyone’s hopes up about a new restaurant that should be really good but instead ends up being worse than almost everything else in town. The chicken at this place was absolutely horrible the time we went. The grease was likely old or someone had dropped plastic in the frying oil because the skin tasted horrible and the chicken itself was like I would think dog food tastes. The red beans and rice were ok but the biscuits were doubly nasty and tasted like dough. At first we thought it must be awesome because of the drive thru being so backed up but then we realized that the reason the drive thru was backed up was because it just wasn’t moving hardly at all. We went inside and there was one cashier and the line was 30 deep. What I don’t understand is that all the instructions, QC and other protocols come from the home office, all that has to happen is for employees to follow them. Poor management. Will never go back and for one of us it was the first time at Popeyes at all and she will never try another...

We waited until after Thanksgiving to try this new Popeyes. The bulk of the excitement had died down although it was still busy. The food was good, although they didn't have the signature brioche bun for the sandwiches but used a sesame seed bun instead. It was good but I hope they were simply out of the brioche buns and had to use the sesame seed buns temporarily and the proper buns will be in stock soon. The fries were good but not hot, so they could have been better. I was disappointed that they do not carry strawberry soda as it is a staple for Popeyes. Read moreMy first time trying them, they completely botched our order, nothing was right. They gave us attitude about it when we went back to get our correct order. Today I decided to give them a second chance. Placed 2 orders through their app within seconds of each other. We get notification to go to the store to get our orders. Upon arriving we were told they had one order but not the other. We showed them the confirmation, but were still told we couldn't have our food even though it was paid. These people need to learn customer service; no one wants to pay for food on their lunch break only to be told they can't get it and now the lunch break is nearly over. Don't waste your time with this place. Go somewhere they appreciate...
