Taco Bell — Restaurant in Nicholasville

The line was on the short side, 2 cars in front of me, and since this Taco Bell is usually does pretty well at moving customers thru the line, I was placing my order within 3 minutes of arrival. I was acknowledged promptly when it was my turn to order, the cashier was very pleasant and polite. She made sure to ask if I wanted sauce, and I always appreciate that since I forget sometimes. She did not repeat my order back to me before she told me the total, though I did not ask her to either.

The cashier at the window was extremely polite, i paid promptly, received my order within 1 minute of paying. Pulled into an adjacent parking lot to check my order and while the melt was present (as well as my Diablo sauce), I unfortunately received 2 Bean burritos instead of beef. No big deal, drove the 10 seconds back, no cars were in line, I explained what happened and they replaced the mistakes without question. The same cashier at the window made a point of clarifying that the correct items were present that time around, and really went above and beyond to rectify what was a small, simple, understandable mistake. 2nd time was correct, and the food was very hot and well-made.

All-in-all, despite an extremely minor inconvenience, this was an above average experience at this location, especially thanks to the kid in the Drivethru window (Young kid, glasses), and the rest...

We love Taco Bell! However, at this particular location, the service in the last 6 months has drastically gone down hill. We know have to check our order before leaving (where before you could trust them to get it right), and something is almost always wrong or missing. Also, the speed of service has suffered. We waited 20-30 minutes on our orders both in the drive thru and the inside dining room. And trying to get someones attention is nearly impossible. A couple weeks ago they forgot one Doritos Nacho Taco and I had to go inside to get it from the drive thru. I waiting nearly 15 minutes, before a young lady who was cooking beside who appeared to be a shift leader, finally noticed me and got it for me within a minute. All of this, after the young man running the register had heard my complaint, told the cooks, and watched me wait, all while never saying anything else to me or them, because he was too busy trying to convince a busy shift leader who was cooking to let him clock out. I moved to Nicholasville in June. It’s now mid December. My bf and I have always been a frequent customer of Taco Bell. Since we have moved here, we have visited this Taco Bell at least ten times. Each time we spend at least $30. Not ONCE, has our order been correct. Something is ALWAYS either missing or incorrect. I get upcharged for chicken on my tacos, and never get it. It’s always beef, and one time it was even steak? I don’t really eat red meat so at this point I have wasted a LOT of money on things I can’t even eat. I double check the order on the screen every single time, and every time it’s rang in correctly but once we get it it’s always wrong. I never write bad reviews, but tonight we decided to give it one more try because nothing else is really open. On the way home we pulled out a fry and they are completely cold.
