Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Niles Township

I recently dined at this restaurant for the first time, and unfortunately, it will be my last. I ordered two grilled chicken sandwiches and two teas. To my surprise, the sandwiches arrived within just a minute, but that was where the positives ended. The chicken was so cold that the cheese on top hadn’t even melted, making it quite frankly inedible.

When I raised my concerns, I was informed that they would remake the sandwiches. While the new sandwich was at least hot, the taste did not improve. The buns were dry, and overall, the flavor was lacking. To make matters worse, the teas were extremely delayed, arriving a full 15 minutes after I had to remind the staff twice. Eating dry food without a drink is never an enjoyable experience.

As a regular diner, all I heard from the staff was a passive "Sorry about that," which did little to rectify the situation. The manager eventually made an appearance but seemed disinterested in addressing my concerns. After offering a refund for the meal, he suggested we try a different location down the road, which felt like an inadequate resolution to the issues we faced. While I appreciate the gesture of a refund, it hardly compensates for the overall disappointing experience.

I understand that we visited later in the day and that staff might be tired, but that should never excuse poor customer service. As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry for over 10 years, I try to approach situations like this with understanding, but this experience was beyond my tolerance. After looking at other reviews, it seems I’m not alone in feeling this way.

First things first I will be that Puerto Rican Karen if I have to. Let me start off by saying shame on the manger for not being there supporting his/her staff. Get a new manager immediately! These poor kids have no sense of leadership because they lack one. I ordered a #5 as i sat down to start eating I noticed they forgot my sons fries no be deal. I went up there and simply asked them for my sons fries and they weren’t kind to give him his fries I sat back down then I noticed my order was totally wrong I didn’t get a spicy deluxe with pepper jack cheese. So I went up no big deal and ask to get my #5 corrected this time. And so they did and the young lady apologized and hand me over what I thought was the correct order to then find out as I sat down to start eating it was a bacon chicken sandwich I then went up to asked the young lady am I being pranked! because at this point this is ridiculous. I was livid. So I insisted to speak with a manager and to my surprise of course they all looked at each other confused. looked at me and said the manager left for the day. How irresponsible and and careless can that manager be. I truly feel bad for the associates there running things alone they are not equipped to do that. If I could describe Chick-fil-A in one word, it would be "irresistible." Our family has developed a bit of a love affair with this place, and it's not hard to see why.

From the moment you walk in, the friendly vibes and efficient service set the tone for a fantastic experience. Now, let's talk about the real star of the show—the Spicy Deluxe Sandwich. Oh my goodness! It's become our absolute favorite. The perfect blend of spice, juiciness, and that signature Chick-fil-A goodness leaves us coming back for more every time.

What makes Chick-fil-A stand out goes beyond the food (though that's a big part of it). It's the consistency. Whether we're at our local spot or traveling, we can always count on that familiar taste and quality that Chick-fil-A is known for.

The staff deserves a shout-out too. They manage to be quick, courteous, and seem genuinely happy to serve you. It's those little things that make a fast-food joint feel like a welcoming place to grab a meal.
