My parents have came to this location multiple times and always had good experiences. My first time buying a ring here and it was HORRIBLE. My husband and I came in looking for a rose gold eternity band ring, but they only had it online. Tiffany helped us order the ring. Tried paying half cash, half card but the entire amount went onto the card. (Problem #1)
The next day, I checked the confirmation and realized that it was ordered in the wrong size. (Problem #2). I went back to the store and was assured 2x that they called to get it fixed.
I checked my order status the next day to realize that it was still in the wrong size. I called to speak to Drew and again I was reassured that it would be in the correct size. He would even call and double check himself and call me back. I never got a call back. (Problem #3)
I even called customer service it make sure they fixed the sizing error. I was assured once again that it had been fixed. They were wrong! (Problem #4)
A few days later I get the email that my ring was in. I went into the store and OF COURSE it came in... WRONG SIZE! I was LIVID. Drew informed me that they would have to reorder the ring. So he cancelled the current order to reorder it & he would call me back with a conformation number. I never got a call. (Problem #5)
I actually found a better deal for a better ring with more carats at Zales. So my husband ordered me that one. We went into the store to get a refund to find out that when Drew cancelled the order, it was refunded! YET I never received a receipt for the refund until my husband went back into the store. (Problem #6)
I will never go back to Kay's again. This experience has put me off to them completely. I will take my business to Zales or Jared next time.

Read moreWhat can I say, I have received amazing customer service from Sylvia. She literally found what seemed like an impossible find! She helped my fiance find the engagement ring of my dreams a beautiful (Neil Lane) we searched online and in store to find the matching wedding band that was absolutely needed because of my rings cathedral setting and we could not find the one that fit and then we did, except it was out of stock. I was devastated no other ring fit with my engagement ring, Sylvia quickly did some research and ordered directly from the manufacturer And got the ring in the store and called my fiance. We just went to go see it and make sure it was my rings pair and low and behold it fit! Just like a puzzle piece. She literally helped make my dreams come true! And some how the wedding band surprisingly was my size 4.5 which is amazing because rings standard sizes are 7. It was meant to be! So grateful she was the person my fiance was first greeted by when she went in. she was very professional, patient and helpful......she will get all our future business. She is a true Gem, definitely an asset to Kay jewelers. I look forward to buying my fiance's wedding band from her. Also when Sylvia ordered my wedding band she told my fiance the price and when we tried it on, it was more than half off the original price! Double win for us. Read moreWell I never bought Jewelry here however I had my Movado Watch repaired here since they were the Authorized official place to have Movado company troubleshoot what the problem is with your watch. Unfortunately Movado store in Fashion Outlets Mall in Rosemont, IL could not service it and just gave me a business card for Movado to call. It was disappointing and Ironic since it's a Movado store. I have had my Movado Bold service at a smaller Jeweler in Oak Park to fix the moisture in my Movado Bold just to find out it is leaking again. I did not spend much and was not expecting this to happen since this Movado Bold watch was a Christmas gift and I valued it and never was abusive to my watch. Anyways why the 4 out of 5 stars was the cost to fix the watch. it was half of what my sister purchased it. Other than that they were pretty fast and they that was also somewhat of the other reason because they quote would take 3 months to fix it but it was less. I had left it to them in Late August near September to find out it was fix sooner. So much uncertainty. I was in a predicament not able to pay until November 11, 2022. I forgot the sales person's name but she gave me a discount and teddy bears on the repair.
