Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Niles Township

This is one of the worst chipotle locations I have gone to. It’s conveniently close to my house, so unfortunately if I want chipotle, this is the closest one. However I do think I will stop going to chipotle completely. The food is inconsistent; sometimes good, sometimes too salty. But when it’s good at this location, it’s GOOD. The staff have the worst attitude. I wish I got the names of the two Hispanic women that helped me just now. Attitude on a 100. Overall, the attitude of the workers is usually bad at this location. I think they don’t realize the whole concept of chipotle. The customer tells you want they want and you put it. I don’t ask anything unreasonable. I usually go for a bowl, or a burrito more often than not. The workers act like everything is too hard to do. The girl preparing my burrito today put half a spoon of chicken on my CHICKEN burrito. I asked her if she could put a little more. Attitude right away. We move on to the toppings and the older lady was on that side. I asked if they had a different mild salsa because it was at the bottom of the container and most of the tomatoes were yellow, so they weren’t ripe. Attitude from the older woman now. So the younger girl goes looking for another container of salsa and the older lady moves on to the next customer. Totally understandable. The younger girl comes back and finishes my burrito. I ask her to please mix my burrito (like always) and she gave me the dirtiest look and fluffed up my cheese and lettuce. This was her mixing. I don’t understand why workers at this location act like every request is so difficult and if you ask for something extra or more of something, like it’s coming out of their pocket. The attitude and rudeness of the workers here is what kills me every time, I just don’t complain, but today was the worst experience of all of them, so I can’t help myself but finally say something. I think if I’m paying $10 for a burrito, it should be the way I want it (because we build our own entree at chipotle; its not ready made (that’s the whole concept)) and it should be tasteful. I placed an online order for pick up in store but I must have not switched from their 'Chipotlane' option so I did not see my order at their counter, so I'll admit my mistake on this - however the attitude of the workers at this location is one I haven't seen at a Chipotle ever. I asked the Chitpolane workers if I could pick it up inside instead but I'm assuming they didn't understand me or might not speak English, so they signaled a worker at the main station for dine in orders and rather than politely asking what I might have been looking for in their store, he rudely said "what do you want!?" with a very annoyed, angry face. I told him if I can pick up my order in store instead but he ignores me. Then I am assuming a manager walks by and asks for my name and he walks to the Chipotlane station to see if my order was ready, but he said it'll be out soon, even though I arrived at the store when my order's ETA was expected. The order then gets to me and I had ordered guacamole with my bowl and when I am eating it I noticed the guacamole didn't look ready, it felt and tasted like avocado as it was still solid and was probably rushed to be made since it clearly wasn't when I arrived...

Got food poisoning or some type of illnes from eating here. Ate a chicken bowl yesterday around 10pm, and about an hour or two later i was puking immensly and dry heaving for around 6-7 hours. Also came out other end. Sweated profusely for over 12 hours and got hot and cold flashes. It felt like i was either boiling or so cold that nothing would warm me up, and this kept changing from one to another while sweating buckets. Waves of intense flu like pain for hours while i layed in bed, on the ground, or with my head against the toilet. Woke up and threw up foamy mucous, whatever liquid was left in tummy like stomach acids. I still feel awful, feels like death. This is in my top two worst experiences for being sick. Wasted money and got deathly sick, wouldnt wish this on anyone. The entire crew was cleaning for the day so maybe some cross contamination...
