I urge the store manager and franchise owner to view the in-store security video from Friday 1/17/2025 from about 7:30pm - 9:30pm CST.
I came by to get some coffee and munchkins and check my email. After I already sat down with my food at a table, a party of four came in and sat right behind me - two adults and two small children. The children were screaming and running around out of control for over one hour - running laps, jumping around, banging into objects, pulling on doors, grabbing and wasting straws and napkins, touching the condiments and items for sale with their wet, dirty, germy hands, ... with constant screaming the entire time. The parent/guardian did barely anything to control them.
I managed to contain myself and not say a word to the parent/guardian behind me. I'm not going to get into a fight with some lazy, inconsiderate parent in a Dunkin Donuts. I just left.
The employees on staff that evening saw it all and did NOTHING. Not a darn thing. This is a major reason for the 1-star rating. I understand that you cannot control the types of customers that come in, HOWEVER your employees have a responsibility to prevent chaos, harassment to customers, possible damage to your property, and possible lawsuits for when one of the kids trips on a chair and smashes their face into the hard floor.
Let me fill you in on something about how things work these days... If one of those out of control kids slips or trips while they're using your cafe as a gymnasium and he smashes his face into a bloody mess, YOU, YOUR BUSINESS, OR YOUR EMPLOYEES MAY BE HELD RESPONSIBLE. The entitled parent(s) will deny any responsibility and find a way to blame you and your establishment. It does not matter if you have video to prove otherwise. They have an injured 8-year old. They will lie and win in court.
PLEASE, keep your store(s)...
Read moreI am usually pretty easy going but I'll never go to this location ever again. The lady that took my order seemed absolutely incompetent. She struggled to take my order. Then when I paid she tried to give it away to 4 different people. She finally cornered someone to do it for her while she stood there and watched them try to do it. The staff she handed it off to was not much better. He got the first ice cream order pretty quickly but I ordered a banana split. He seemed like he didn't know how to do it. Finally put my 3 scoops in the tray and walked off after placing it on a counter top. It was half way melted by the time he came back nearly 10 minutes later to tell me they had no bananas. I told him the only 3 toppings I wanted but he proceeded to tell me how he liked the ice cream done and tried to make it how HE WANTED TO. I kept politely asking please no I only want those three toppings I asked for. He took my order to the other side of the counter and struggled to put a lid on it. I finally said don't worry about it may I please have a spoon. Someone else had to tell him where the spoon was. I wasn't offered a refund despite paying for something I didn't receive. However, I walked out and realized I was never given my receipt and missing an item. I walked back in and asked for both. The girl had my receipt at a different counter but gave it back to me. I told her I paid for a wrap I didn't receive so she went to ask 3 people to start making a wrap...but someone working the window had to tell her it was already done and sitting in a bag on the counter. By the time I left they only got 3 items right, 1 hot item was partially cold (and I had to return to get it), and 1 item was a hot mess. I rather go to a different location cause this isn't the first time they were disorganized , rude, and...
Read moreIt’s a donut place and they are always out of donuts. Date : 7/06/24 This evening, while utilizing the drive-thru with my son, I encountered an employee who first corrected my pronunciation of a donut. I explained that as long as he understood my request, the exact pronunciation should not be an issue. Although this interaction was unpleasant, I chose to overlook it.
Subsequently, my son decided he wanted an additional scoop of ice cream. Upon reaching the window, I requested the addition, but the employee informed me that he could not modify my order and that I would need to re-enter the line to place the additional request. Given my son's health condition, it was impractical for us to circle around and wait again.
The time he spent refusing my request could have been used to fulfill it. Our frequent visits to Dunkin’ Donuts have never involved such inflexibility, even during peak hours when adding to an order. The employee's conduct was not only unhelpful but also disrespectful, as he initially mocked my accent and subsequently insisted on a...
