Oberweis Ice Cream and Dairy Store — Restaurant in Niles Township

Terrible experience. I have never waited 45+ minutes for ice cream in my life. There were 2 employees actually working and the shift lead and other young lady were chatting, checking cell phones, giggling. We watched as every customer that came before us waited forever and got wrong orders, asked for refunds. They could not care less. They moved like molasses with no sense of urgency. The store was also filthy, sticky everywhere, garbage all over the floor. It was obvious no one had checked the lobby in awhile. We watched as several very disappointed people walked out with no ice cream-- including a little girl and two families with children. Don't waste your time or money on this place. There must have been recent turn over of management or better staff to leave these inbred morons behind the counter picking their noses. Except Brandon and red-dyed-hair lady. You two were great. Aya and Ashourina, on the other hand? You guys are literally the worst. People get ice cream to have fun and you two literally sucked the joy right out of the experience. I went to this location last week and they messed up my order and charged me more. I didn't realize until they brought my order to me that it was wrong. The young kid that rang me out asked if I wanted the difference paid back and that they couldn't make me a new order. I agreed and the manager that was a heavyset lady with glasses on said she'll make my order herself. They said I can have the order they messed up and still make me a new one, I agreed. But what I didn't realize that the lady manager made my order and reduced my quality of icecream and gave me a smaller scoop just because they have to give me the order they messed up on for free. I went home and saw thay reduced the size of the icecream just because they had to give me the order that THEY MESSED UP ON for free. They should pay more attention on what the customers are ordering and be more present. This Oberweis is a great place in Lincolnwood to enjoy some good quality ice cream, milkshakes and more. Great for couples, groups, families and very kid friendly.

Oberweis is known for using high quality Wisconsin dairy.

The staff is young but very courteous and friendly.

There at times may be a wait but not to worry, they will call your order and theres also an Oberweis app that is convenient for ordering ahead.

There is also alot of diff styles of seating from booths and tables to benches to sit and wait for your ice cream.

One thing I especially like is they have outdoor tables as well as tables inside where you can play chess. They also have other board games if you ask for them.
