I went to this resturant becasuse it is close to home. It was about 7:45 - 8:00 PM when I got there. There were two cars ahead of me to get to the ordering screen. It took me past 8:30 to just get to the screen to let them know i had a mobile order and I wanted it fresh. From there it only gets worse. It took me until 9:45 to get to the window for my order (over an hour). The dark skinned girl working the window took her sweet time to just acknowledge I was even there and that was only because I started tapping on the window. I said I had a mobile order for pick up and she went over and grabbed the only bag sitting on the counter. I asked if it was fresh since I was waiting so long and she said it was and that they just got it ready, then she turned to another male dark skinned employee and said something, to which they both started laughing. That should have told me something wasnt right, but I trusted her. I found out after I got home that she flat out lied to me. Shame on her. The chicken was not even close to being fresh and looked like they picked the worst dried out pieces that were left over from lunchtime, and put them in my order. I got home to share it with my family and we were in total discuss at what it looked like and couldnt eat more than two drumsticks and one thigh. The rest were absolutly disgusting, like dried leather and got tossed in the garbage. None of the chicken we got should have ever been served to any paying customer. Totally ruined our dinner!
I called this store, after I cooled down and asked the girl that answered the phone for the manager in charge, she said she was and asked what I needed. I asked for her name so I knew who I was speaking with and then she said hang on a minute. Evidently she was not the manager in charge and lied. I thought she hung up on me but then a man came to the phone who said he was the shift leader. I did get his name. I explainded all of this to him and about how absolutely horrible this expierience was. He apologized and said they were short staffed, had two new employees and will replace my order next time I come in. I will hold them to it and hope they do.
I will update this review if/when they do indeed take care of this correctly, and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have to say this is one review hands down i should have done already. The owner and all the employees are nice the food is omg we have literally eaten here 6 times in less than two weeks you just cant get enough its very clean and I have not got one bad thing ever so if someone complains about this food you need to find somewhere else to eat because they just opened up so they might forget to give you an item but the food is over a 5 star rating and the wait is worth it this is a must go too if you love chicken or shrimp, red beans and rice I could go on and on .We have one in my area but it will never compare to this one and they care about what they are serving to their customers the owners show it in everything they do great food great employees they need more and if i could work here i would my whole paycheck would be given back to them for food š¤£so if you love chicken and a little spice this is one place you should go they are so busy the drivethru is out in the road and its like that everytime i see it or im already there also they let you dine in but they need a few more great people to work for them because if low staffed they cant open the dine in but it doesnt stop me they work hard and when food is this great ill wait cant wait until friday im going back for more. All that weight i lost i gained back im sure because you dont know when to stop eating i even order extra for the next day i use the spicy chicken on a salad my children always end up finding my extra fries and red beans and rice also the one thing about this popeyes is you can over eat but not feel sick to your stomach like alot of places now days.Sorry i dont use all the correct puncuation in my reviews im more worried about getting to the point and all i can say is hands down this place is on point 110 percent so really stop by you will not regret it and if you find anything wrong well you just dont know quality food...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEarlier today, I asked my Facebook friends about experiences with this Niles location; but decided to try because I've been hungry for Popeyes Chicken and red beans and rice. Well, folks, I ended up deciding to go, based on my eldest son's recommendation! The drive thru line was 7 cars in front of me, and I had to wait 15 minutes to order. However, I MUST let everyone know that they were working their šāāļøtails off. They worked together as a team, were short several people who didn't show, plus they needed to hire more. My specific order(s) with changes āļøto menu items, (I'm willing to pay a little extra for a different piece) and an addition for dessert at the pick-up window, was TOTALLY CORRECT and tasted great ā¼ļøHusband's 1st time having their chicken and he loved šit! The drive thru clerk took my dessert addition, rang up the total and apologized for the wait. Although she was also doing some of another's persons job, she remained super friendly, kept me informed of how much longer it may be, and then she thanked me profusely for acknowledging her and her coworkers efforts! (She deserved š it!) I HIGHLY recommend POPEYES LOUISIANA KITCHEN in Niles! Everyone needs to remember (especially if you're 60+ years old) that we're the baby boomers, and there aren't always enough younger generations to care for our needs; so have patience...
