I appreciate you taking the time to respond to me and verifying your stance on employee honesty and customer satisfaction. I'm sure if you wanted to reach out to the local realtor, to have a conversation about her memorable visit to your establishment, she would be more than happy to chat. If not, you can just read about it below.
Good pizza with a side of attitude is what we got tonight. We ordered online with a pick up time of 6:46. We arrived at 6:45. I gave the girl at the register my name, she told the pizza cook, I was there. Pizza cook got an attitude and made a comment about us being early. We were only 1 minute early, according to my email. No big deal, we can wait. There were a few other people also waiting and sitting on the couch, and they had a few open tables so we sat at the table nearest the counter. I saw nothing on the table indicating that we weren't allowed to sit and wait. Pizza cook then made another nasty comment to the girl about me sitting where it says not to sit, so the girl asked me to move. We stand to wait for our pizza. In the mean time, a pizza order comes out for someone else and he sits the pizza on the table so he can put them in his door dash bag. Pizza cook, still with an attitude, tells the girl to make sure she washes the table, he only sat a box on it that came from her kitchen. A while later our order is brought out, and wanting to check it's accuracy, I sat it on the table (there is no other place) and I hear pizza cook in the back say "this b (female dog) needs to get out of my restaurant" the counter girl says "Who?" and she said "Candy, the girl who just got her order". I'm not usually one to say anything, and I don't mind the extra 15 minute wait but you better believe I spoke up. I don't know this lady and I did nothing wrong. I arrived 1 minute early for my pizza, and sat at a table that I did not see any signs saying not to sit at. To call me names was completely out of line and unprofessional. She should not be working in any service industry. Unfortunately, I won't be driving from Stevensville to get pizza again, no matter how good...
Read more11/7/2024 called in to place a order was put on hold , followed by getting hung up on. I called back to only hear it’s delivery only so I said ok well never mind. I then called back to ask if they delivered to Buchanan and was told no , but if I wanted to come in and place an order I could. Well, I was already in Niles just left parent teacher conferences at Ballard so I went by there to place an order, Walked in told him what I wanted. Total was 60 some dollars paid, was told it would be about 40 minutes. I Ended up having to sit at a table because the pick up area was full as I’m sitting there. I am constantly hearing a woman’s voice from the back complaining about the number of orders that they had every time the phone ring I hear the same woman Yelling “ Delivery only” Every time The phone would ring, to the young men upfront, who’s answering the phones ,As I continue to sit at the table waiting for my food, I’m constantly hearing her complain, even took it upon herself to count the number of orders that she had as she continued to complain to the crew, assisting her in the back prepping orders . There was a young brown haired boy working the dining room. I stopped him and asked him if that lady was the manager. He stated yes and ask if there was anything he could help me with. I proceeded to tell him how unprofessional that women was with all her complaining about the number of orders they had and such, He was very sincere and apologetic for her actions and reassured me that they were not directed towards me. This woman is a manager who needs to lead by example! This is my first time ordering from pizza transit and will be my last since my order was such an inconvenience to her as well as everybody else’s. I’m sorry that the elementary schools had parent teacher conferences and most parents work and it’s convenient for them just to order pizza to feed their families After a long evening. I’m very disappointed with the atmosphere and the service that was provided to me tonight! I have included a picture of the woman that I speak of...
Read moreWe normally love Pizza Transit and I hate writing this review. Our latest pizza was delivered incorrect. We also got an incorrect dipping sauce. Called in to discuss the errors and the pizza was remade. Instead of waiting for another 45 minutes for a correct pizza to be delivered, we decided to pick it up. Inspect the pizza again before leaving and again it was made incorrectly. Again the pizza is remade. However the entire time the cook was screaming and yelling about having to remake the pizza. The pizza that had been made incorrectly. Twice. It was shouted that we should not be allowed to order pizza how we like it. Or we should not be allowed to order from Pizza Transit again. This is unacceptable and embarrassing that this was in a dining room full of people. No one should be subjected to being berated by a cook in the kitchen when mistakes were made in the kitchen. I know that no one cares when a customer says they will not be back, but we will never be ordering from Pizza Transit again. We will drive to South Bend and get Mancinos.
Update
Response appreciated. The employee she (my wife) directly interacted with, did say exactly what you stated. The foul words were coming from the kitchen itself. It's not what she thought she heard, or that she misunderstood anything, it's what was actually said in the kitchen, loud enough that she heard while waiting in the dining room. As for several changes, it was 2. Swap green peppers for pineapple, green olives on half. To order individual toppings would in the long run, raise the price of the pizza. Which if substitutions were not allowed and that was the way to get a pizza the way we like it, we would have happily done. However we can make substitutions, so we did. Completely reasonable on our end in my opinion. Again, I appreciate the response, and appreciate the employee that my wife directly interacted with, but the actions of the kitchen are and will continue to be, unacceptable to...
