Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Nixa

This was one of the absolute worst experiences I have ever have! We dine out a lot and have never had such a horrific experience! Porsha, “like the car,” was our waitress who volunteered to take our table of 11 and she was horrible!! We waited over an hour for our food and it was not busy, nor did we have a difficult order. Once our food finally began coming to the table, Porsha brought half of it and disappeared to serve other tables! Another waitress volunteered to finish up retrieving our lunch for us and between Lacy and another waiter, we finally got our full order; one of which was supposed to be endless wings. The wings were cold, one of the burgers was cold, the nacho cheese was congealed, none of the other burgers had the correct toppings, they brought us nearly empty ketchup bottles and our drinks weren’t refilled well. We were to be somewhere an hour and half AFTER we got to the restaurant. Due to the horrible service, we were half an hour late to our prior commitment! We had to literally chase Porsha down to not only get our check but to pay it!! She felt it would make things better by taking $10 off of our check and not charging for our sodas. If we had as few morals and cared as little as Porsha, and later the manager as well, we would have just walked out on several occasions! Once we finally got the chance to talk to the manager, he proceeded to filter through receipts and cards while we talked. He then walked away!! He finally returned with gift cards to come back! I didn’t really want to do this but I feel I have too. We went to Applebee’s in Nixa tonight for our anniversary. We have never had a problem there before. And we realized they might be doing a lot of training but here’s what happened. We were seated in no time which wasn’t a bad thing. Our waitress comes over with someone she was training which was fine. We ordered our drinks had to wait about 20 minutes for my drink and I had to remind her that my husband still didn’t have his drink. And I never got my water that I ordered. So we ordered our food and after almost an hour later our waitress comes over and says that our order was voided from her computer. At this point I wanted to leave. Pay for what we had gotten and leave but my husband told her what we had ordered and she said she would get it in and they would make it right away. But it was still another 30 minute wait she never asked if we wanted refills on our drinks until we were done with our food. I am not giving a one star because she did seem like she felt really bad and gave us a huge discount for all the problems but there was still things she should have done that she didn’t and that is why I don’t feel the service deserved a five star. I wouldn't know how the food was. My party of 5 was never waited on. We sat in our booth for 30 minutes after being sat and not a single employee came to our table. No drinks were offered, nothing. Meanwhile, Taylor the manager and the rest of the crew were standing at the back of the bar chatting. I had to call the restaurant to let them know we had not been tended to. At that point the woman who was supposed to serve our table poked her head out from the back kitchen area and when I waved she ran. Then she and another server poked their heads out again and waved back but still never approached our table.my husband and niece went to our vehicle while I approached the manager. I told her what happened. Even the larger party who sat at the table next to us were immediately greeted by their server. The manager was very unapologetic. The server who was supposed to tend to our table tried to say she was grabbing silverware 🤣 um no you were not. I watched you for THIRTY MINUTES. We were out to celebrate my daughter's 15th birthday so we decided to leave and as we walked out one of the employees said "so are you eating here or what?" Um.... No ma'am.
