Sweet Deli Venezuelan Bakery — Restaurant in Noblesville

I wandered into Sweet Deli just off the Nickle Plate Trail . I needed to use the restroom, and when I do that, I generally purchase something from the merchant. Long story short, I met Deli and her husband George (probably Jorge'). They are warm and wonderful people. I chat it up with George and he made me a Cuban coffee that was delicious. I purchased something that I equate to a "wedding cake" like treat, and I ate half of them on the ride home. They were 'melt in your mouth' good. I don't think I have ever eaten better bread than this! We have had their sesame seed bun. It is huge, and I thought we would have to put 3 burgers on one bun. I was wrong! The bun is very tall, but it's so light and airy that one burger was perfect with it. Then we had the ham and cheese rolls, and my eyes rolled to the back of my head when I took my first bite! Absolutely incredible! Finally, we had the bread that is filled with caramel. Wow! It took a lot of restraint not to eat the whole loaf in one sitting. You must make a visit to Sweet Deli! Just wonderful! We were a little intimidated to try something so new to us, but glad we did. The staff at this counter service bakery were friendly and explained what the items were. We were rewarded with delicious sweet and savory baked items our entire family enjoyed. The people in front of us left with multiple bags and boxes of items and now we see why! It’s all delicious! Our favorites were the ham and cheese croissant and the coconut bun. Such a great addition to the neighborhood. We will be back...
