Sadly, this place is WAY TOO UNDERSTAFFED, and gets your order wrong 6 out of 10 times, so I'm sure they're not making the money they could be... However, I definitely wanted to leave ratingra for the young gal named Hayleigh and the gal at the drive thru. Looking story so here we go! My husband stopped by to get dinner for our family tonight (this process started at 630 pm and ended at almost 8pm) The initial order consisted of a spicy chicken ceasar salad, a 4 for 4 for our son, and the Hubby had planned on ordering one of their new burgers. He was in the drive thru for OVER 15 minutes waiting, without moving, so he decided just to go inside. He stood INSIDE for another 15 minutes and wasn't even acknowledged, so he and the 4 people behind him all left, as they weren't acknowledged either and he said it seemed like the employees were too busy replacing orders that were ALREADY messed up before taking anymore. So he left and came home without dinner... 30 minutes later he went back to Wendy's and just ordered for my son and I because he was so peeved over the wait time that he didn't want to risk ordering anything else and it all being wrong. He was FINALLY able to place our order around 720pm!!! YAY! However, when he came home the salad AND 4 for 4 were totally different than what he ordered, so by now I was simply fed up and he was furious... So I called and spoke with Hayleigh and took the food back myself. Not only did Hayleigh PERSONALLY take the time and effort to make & replace our food, but she went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied by offering to compensate us for the time we lost (well over an hour), the food that was wrong, and she wanted to make sure we came back, so what she offered and did, I was extremely grateful for! The poor girl at the drive thru I was pretty impressed with as well as She was holding her composure in the midst of all of this mess, along with the mess they were replacing for everyone else who was back to return food. I WOULD HAVE GIVEN THIS WHOLE WENDY'S A 1 STAR FOR TODAY'S EXPERIENCE, However, if I broke it down, it'd be simple.... Hayleigh- 5 stars- great customer service and what seemed like legit concern for The Wendys company as a whole! Drive Thru Gal- 4 stars as she kept a smile on her face and kept hustling even though this store is horribly understaffed. Front Counter Guy- 1 star. He seemed miserable and his phone & smoke breaks seemed most important (2 smoke breaks while my husband was there) Kitchen- 2 stars. He's messing up orders left and right, but still trying when he could easily walk away. Cleanliness- NEGATIVE 2 stars- the amount of trash just laying around is PATHETIC!
All in all, kudos for these 2 gals trying to keep this Wendy's going and customers happy! Other than that, Wendys corporate office needs to realize this store is grossly understaffed and I would assume that those who show up and actually DO WORK like these 2 gals are, sadly, most likely making the same amount of money as Mr. Cellphone/Smoke-Break,and Mr. Whocares WHAT Comes Out of...
Read moreWhen they get your order right, they're typical Wendy's. But make sure you get a receipt and always double check your order before leaving the parking lot when using the drive through. The get it wrong very often.
The other day, we ordered two (2) Triple burgers with cheese and were very specific that it was to be cheese and ketchup only... Due to an severe allergy to the egg proteins in mayonnaise. The girl taking the order read back the order correctly.
We were not offered a receipt and none was in the bag. When we got to the job site, both burgers were slathered with mayonnaise. $12.84 for two burgers that had to be thrown in the trash.
We tried calling the store and the phone was never picked up. By the time we left the job site, they were closed.
We called the next day, speaking to Thaddeus who claimed to be a manager. We explained the situation, and in mid-conversation he abruptly handed the phone to another employee. We had to explain a second time.
The second employee offered to re-make the burgers, and stated he would look up the order on the computer so the receipt was no problem. When we drove all the way up to the store several hours later, we met with Thaddeus. He claimed that the other employee has looked on the computer and there was no order, and hence no replacement would be made.
We were very specific about the time frame of the order and the details. There is no way they could have possibly checked the records and not found the order.
This is customer service at it's worse. We cannot overstress the importance of double checking your special order before leaving when you have food allergies. And do not let them send you away without a receipt. Stay until they provide one, no matter how...
Read moreDid an online order about 10 minutes before I arrived. Got four 4 for $4 all the same and 4 cookies. First off, my coupon didn’t load. Not their fault, secondly, I pull to the speaker, the lady greats me “Welcome to Wendy’s, we’re only accepting cash, we will be right with you” in a stressed, understaffed tone. Ok cool, they are busy their card machine isn’t working.. it’s a rough night. Guy comes on, “Hi may I take your order” I responded “ yes I have a mobile order for K. Farmer”, as this is what my app tells me to tell the drive thru, the man says yes… pull forward. As I get to the window the man opens the window and the manager is barking at him telling him, “if they can’t tell me the name then they can go to the back of the line. I’m the manager and this is my show” he looks at me embarrassed and I look at him confused, she is still yelling at him about going to the back of the line. He makes the drinks and hands me them and my food, I politely ask if the straws are in the bag and he gave me more straws “just in case” then the manager decides to jump around the corner with the YES I DID, I said ok thanks and drove off. Handing the food to my kids the nuggets are cold, jr bacon cheeseburger is burnt and fries were a mix of Luke warm and cold. I was beyond disappointed, slightly embarrassed and highly disrespected.
