One year later (see below), I find myself back here, and the service is just as bad as before. Maybe that's why this Chick-fil-A is not busy when all others usually are. Dining in this time, and we had to circle the dining room to find the lone clean table, while countless teenage employees stand around chatting. When our order was brought to the table, there was no offer of ketchup, etc., as there once used to be. When I went to to get some, and mayonnaise also, the condiment stand was out of mayonnaise. I went to stand at the counter, next to three Chick-fil-A employees, all of whom tried very hard not to notice me. After they walked away, two more walked past me without acknowledgement of any kind. In fact, I never did get my mayonnaise. I know it's fast food and I shouldn't expect much, but from the widely accepted best of the chicken franchises, this is a new low. I won't likely be back here to experience it again.
Giving one star is generous. This was the absolute worst service I have ever received at a Chick-fil-a store. I pulled into the drive thru where two teenagers were taking orders while four stood around talking and laughing. I ordered a Chick-fil-A deluxe with American cheese and bacon, no tomato. Their card reader wasn't working, so they had to run my card a second time later. I got home -- 15 minutes later -- to find in my back a Spicy Chick-fil-A sandwich with pepper jack and tomato, no bacon. I double checked the tag on my bag (see pic), and my order was entered correctly. Just prepared and served incorrectly. Being one who cannot eat spicy foods, and not wanting to drive back, I called and asked for a refund. I was passed of to "Assistant Director" James, who told me he couldn't issue a refund over the phone, but could send me some coupons. He said he could only issue a refund if I came back to the store. I told him that defeats the purpose of my call, as I don't want to drive another 30 minutes round trip to get what I ordered and paid for. I asked him if I was placing an order, could he take payment over the phone, and he said he could. So, they can take my money over the phone, but they can't give it back to me over the phone when they make a mistake. A lot of people support Chick-fil-A because they share similar values and beliefs. I share those same beliefs. But I also believe that I should get what I order and pay for, and if that doesn't happen, it should be made right in a way that is convenient for me. I won't be going back to this Chick-fil-A store again. I'll call their corporate number, and comment at their website, but if they didn't want to satisfy me the first chance they had, I don't think it's likely they'll work too hard to deliver...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have no idea why this happened, but it did. Drove up to drive-thru (inside was closed to customers), nice young man took my order (two sandwiches add cheese, and a large diet Coke).
Drive around to window, nice young lady hands me my drink, tells me to pull forward while they make my order. TEN MINUTES LATER, and still no order, I get out, and ask the young lady what is going on, she apologizes and says they were getting a fresh batch of chicken prepped.
I then asked how all the cars behind me were able to get their orders and leave (not a single other car was asked to wait, nor were any of the cars sitting at the window for any unusual period before they got their orders), she said all those orders involved chicken nuggets or other non-sandwich meals. Lol. Really?
So I go back to my car. I was still sitting next to the building waiting, and decided to park in a space instead. I waited another TWENTY MINUTES. dozens of cars came and went through the drive-thru. I believe one other car had to wait a few minutes for their order in the little "pull ahead" section of the drive-thru.
So in total, I was waiting 30 MINUTES for two sandwiches. Finally, the MOD brought my food out to me, and apologized, and told me she refunded my order for me. I asked how this could have happened, and she said she did not know.
It wasn't so much the wait, (I mean 30 minutes is insane), it was that I was being punished while all the other cars/orders were going through. I hope no one else ever has to go through what I went through.
Oh, and the food tasted fine. I mean, it's Chik-fil-a. But the experience...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI visited this location on Thursday and Friday and received two completely different experiences. I went to the location for breakfast on Thursday and the staff was friendly, helpful, and an overall delight. My food was hot and tasted great.
My visit on Friday was awful. I ordered on the app and stood in the pickup area while I waited for my food. There were two different staff members that asked every single person besides except me what they were waiting for and if they needed assistance. Every single person also received a pleasant greeting with their food besides me, even thought I said "thank you" when they handed it to me. I checked my ordered and one of the items were prepared incorrectly. I stood at the pick up area for a minute and tried to get the attention of the staff with no avail. This includes saying excuse me to a staff member that stood right next to me. Another guest that was ordering at the register had to tell the staff member that I needed assistance before I could get help. Once I finally got my sandwich, the bread was burnt.
I'm a huge fan of Chick-fil-a and eat at one in every city I visit. This has to be one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a location! This is not the overly friendly guest service I receive at every other location and made me feel singled out for whatever reason the staff chose. I will definitely not be returning to...
