Gator's Dockside Murabella — Restaurant in Nocatee

So I've been here a couple times and I've kinda had mixed reviews..... Untill the last time some of my colleagues and I went out for lunch. Arrived at 1:00 pm (lunch time) upon arrival we were greeted and seated. We all ordered food as soon as we could and informed the waitress it would help us alot if she put the order in asap due to us being in a time crunch. She then put our order in and brought us our drinks (forgetting the artificial sweeteners one of our guests requested.... No big deal though) 32 minutes later she checked on us to see how we were doing. Still recieving no food we informed her that everything was not ok because we had no food yet. Expecting the waitress to apologise and fix the issue as soon as possible she then with a bit of a snap states "well it's only been 30 minutes" WAIT WHAT!?!? We were all blown away by the response but kept our mouths shut. 15 minutes goes by and still no food. At this point most of our team needed to go due to our work schedule. So we left a couple behind with our debit cards to pay and went back to work. While waiting at work (which is within walking distance of Gators) for our to go meals our coleagues waiting on the food arrive with all of our food in hand. Now I did not try everyone else's dishes but EVERYONE seemed to complain that their food was cold. The fish I ordered was so full of grease the breeding was saturated.

We all decided to just keep our mouths shut and just not go back BUT.... Now I can't stay out of the restroom because I believe I have food poisoning.....

Will not return to this resturant.

On top of everything... When the coleagues paid for everything and was leaving she asked the waitress for some extra ranch. She pipped up and said. That is going to be extra.... Are you kidding...

How many times do you try a place before you just stop going on principle. We have limited option out here soooooo..Been a while since i have been to this Gator Dockside. Went in tonight and saw new menu lots of people waitress and staff were friendly. Here we go: ordered BLT (came with crumbles bacon falling off sandwich like bacon Crumbles you put on a salad. Surprisingly and for the first time ever the manager walked by and asked how was the food. I asked for more bacon he came back and said they had no more bacon. Followed by asking me don't you think they would make bacon for the day? Uh yeah i do. But either way he never came back with the bacon. Ordered wings to go took 30+ minutes to get them. All drums. I asked the waitress. Do you usually serve all drums? She said no not usually. I said can i ask for some flats to be mixed in? I knew by the look on her face it would be a LONG time she half way gave an answer of trying hut not really. Not worth it so we moved on. Virtually no sauce on the wings so i asked for more sauce in the side they didn't give me the blue cheese I asked for had to send them back to get that them had to remind them of the side of suicide sauce now they are aggravated peering around the corner looking at me like I'm the problem . Oh boy. How can other gator docksides food be so fresh and so good and this one miss most every time? Unfortunately I didn't take photos. They did give me a 10% discount. I would pay 10% more for...

Don't know why we thought things would be different. Every time we order from here there is always something wrong with the food. They have forgotten items, forgotten sauces, over cooked food, food has been raw and or cold, the list goes on. This time was no different. Ordered food just around 7:20p was told it would be 25mins. Great no problem. Get there just before 8pm and made to pay. Told order was ready and would be out in just a moment. 5 mins go by. Food still isn't out. 10 mins go by finally the hostess comes out and says everything is ready however he sauce we had ordered for two of our wing platers wasn't available. Great. Selected another and told that the food would be out in just a moment they just had to go toss the wings in the sauce. Cool. No problem. Not that busy, was kind of quiet. Just sat there and played on my phone. Come 8:30p food was still not out. At this point my family and I were just ready to get a refund and leave but I couldn't flag down or find any serves to give us back our money. 8:45p finally food comes out and they end up trying forgetting the extra sauces we paid for. Made them go back and get them. I would not recommend eating here. Not worth having your night ruined waiting around for food. A bowl of cereal would be much better then this.
