Your present help is costing you money and reputation. On my first visit the waiter came to take my order and I was thinking this could be a cool place to come for lunch. 35 minutes later I flagged him down asking about my food as I was the only one in there. He went back to the kitchen and then returned apologizing profusely. The cook never got my order (club sandwich). When it hit an hour I flagged him down again and was told it was the cook's break. I was going to leave but they brought out a few free apetizers and said the entire meal and whatever deserts and drinks I wanted were on the house. Normally I wouldn't have returned but hey.... thanks for the free $25 meal. By the way... it was right at the hour and a half mark when I finally got my club sandwich.
On my next trip I say at the bar. My food only took 45 minutes that time. I thought it odd that for a bar with me at the bar that NO ONE checked if I wanted a drink refill. Your loss. What irked me the most on that visit was that I sat with my credit card out in my hand for 15 minutes before I finally had to flag someone down to see if I could pay. Even at that, the first two servers i asked ignored me and went to watch the game with their friends at the other end of the bar. The third said let me get your server and that was another five minutes wait. I have to wonder how many people have just walked out and stiffed you due to unresponsive help.
Tonight, I walked in and a young lady at the door (seated) told me hello as I walked in. I went to the bar to order food, sat there for a half hour, and NO ONE EVER WAITED ON ME. I did have to chuckle as I walked out the door, still hungry, when the same young lady (still seated) smiled and said thanks...
Read moreNice looking facility. Severely understaffed. The chili was acceptable but the guacamole inferior to many store products. I ordered a small ($3) guac "and chips," but when the bill came I had been charged an additional $5 for the chips. Waiter said that's the way it's done since you are also (without being told) buying chips and salsa if you ask for chips. (Salsa was provided, but I didn't eat any. Many restaurants give chips and salsa as a free appetizer, so I gave it no thought.) The guacamole doesn't come with chips, so heaven knows how you are supposed to eat it. He took my objection to the manager, who sent him back with a rejection of my complaint. When I went to her she said she was too busy to come to my table. I repeated that it was ridiculous to charge $5 for chips for a $3 guac, and she said she could do nothing since she didn't set the prices. I expressed my surprise that a manager was powerless, and she said to just forget about the bill. I said I wanted to pay my legit total and she refused. I left a tip. It isn't so hard to properly price items and deal with complaints if a restaurant is well-run. It took me 61 years to find one that sells a side of guac without chips. The guac came with a hair in it.
As for the NFL, I was told just 4 games can be shown, though there are far more...
Read moreTerrible. Rolled in at 5:30 on a Friday. There were a few people at the bar and maybe five tables taken. 5:45 the only worker in the place came and took our drink order. 5:55 drinks arrived. 6:05 after flagging her down she took our food order, mostly wings but one club sandwich. 6:25 wings arrived and they were soggy. An hour and five minutes later still no club sandwich, so we canceled it got the bill and left. On the way out grabbed a taco from the food truck in the parking lot. This place has no service at all. Do yourself a favor and if you go here skip opening the doors and grab something at the food truck outside instead. Will never go back.
I forgot to mention they were out of just about anything. Out of red wine, out of Jack. I’m willing to bet they were out of lunch meat too and had to send someone to the store to buy some which would explain why they couldn’t make a dang sandwich in less...
