Service was OK the girls working were very good it just seems that this restaurant had a lack of communication from front to back.
The bread and salad was very good but that is the end of the good things that evening when the bread and salad were the highlights of the evening.
I had the chicken parmigiana the chicken cutlet was not pounded thin and it was dry and reheated the cheese was not melted throughly and it was just warm.(not good) the marinara sauce was like tomato soup with sugar and burnt bitter garlic it was horrible and the tiny bit of pasta was cold.
The other plate was spaghetti and meatballs and again it was a extremely small portion and the marinara sauce was well see above basically horrible.. How can a Italian restaurant screw up spaghetti and meatballs and chicken parmigiana it is the go to dish in every Italian restaurant. This is the first Italian restaurant I have ever eaten at that I went to get Chinese food after to get over my hunger.
I really do not like to give bad reviews while 🇨🇳 19 is going on because we need to support business but this restaurant should be doing better just for that reason.
I hope they get better and...
Read moreI don’t understand the great reviews. This is not real Italian food or you never had good Italian. First the bread was Texas toast bread from a box. Chicken Marsala was super sweet no fresh mushrooms , never had Marsala like that(I don’t know what kind of sauce it was). To top it off my daughter was served raw chicken with her pesto linguine which was very bland. You can see the picture of chicken and she got food poisoning. The service was not great, server never came to our table to see if we needed anything. Perhaps be a use employees were eating their lunch. We still left 20% tip and server forgot to return our credit card. Had to drive back 2.5 hrs to pick it up. We were the only customers and still no great service. I wouldn’t recommend it. For the price I was expecting super delicious food but it...
Read moreThough described as International, the food is a Mexican version of continental-Italian. Lunch portions are about half the price of dinner portions. The food is flavorful and well presented. Service is professional. A different wine is featured every day. There are chef's specials each day. I had the spinach-ricotta ravioli at lunch, which consisted of two large stuffed pillows of pasta plus rigatoni, both properly prepared. My dining partner had an excellent lasagna. There was a good selection of wine and beers. Menu options were eclectic, and I look forward to trying some of the blended Mexican/Italian dishes. This restaurant is a serious attempt at high quality dining, and I hope it survives in...
