Ambiance
AMAZ Asian Cafe & Bistro offers a modern, inviting cafe ambiance that makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The decor combines clean, contemporary lines with subtle Asian-inspired elements, creating a space that’s both stylish and comfortable. The welcoming vibe and attentive staff set the perfect tone for a relaxed dining experience.
Drinks
I started with a classic Thai Tea, which tasted as authentic as those you’d find in Thailand. It was perfectly balanced—creamy, sweet, and rich with that signature Thai tea flavor. The drink had just the right level of sweetness and an appealing orange hue that made it both visually enticing and enjoyable to sip.
Appetizers
The Wings with Fish Sauce were a fantastic choice for an appetizer, and they showcased a real commitment to authentic flavors. Each wing had a crispy exterior and tender interior, with a slightly sweet and savory glaze from the fish sauce that was deeply flavorful. The umami notes were spot-on, delivering that traditional flavor profile you’d expect from this classic dish.
Main Course
The Katsudon Tonkatsu (Pork Cutlet) was another winner, with every detail echoing traditional Japanese preparation. The pork cutlet was golden and crispy, topped with a perfectly balanced savory-sweet sauce that brought out the natural flavors of the meat. Paired with fluffy rice that absorbed the flavors, this dish was as authentic as it was delicious, offering true comfort food with an Asian twist.
Dessert
To end the meal, I had the Taro Ball Coconut Milk dessert. This dish captured the authentic flavors of Asian desserts—lightly sweet and refreshingly creamy. The taro balls added a unique, chewy texture that complemented the rich coconut milk, rounding out the meal with a traditional,...
Read moreThis restaurant is cute, inviting, cozy. There’s a patio sitting area with inspirational decor (you are beautiful inside out) The entrance has cute faux foliage and wicker baskets indicative of the Asian touch/decor. More inspirational reminders are in the foyer/main area (love all, etc) There’s an alcove to the side for the dining area, cooled by window AC units which I think adds to the simple charm. Menu offers a variety of Asian dishes: Thai, Japanese, Chinese, etc. I ordered the Massaman curry with chicken, mild. Other protein choices are tofu, pork, beef, salmon, shrimp. Two small notes: It was supposed to be mild, but it lacked another level of spicyness (is this a word?); to me it wasn’t even spicy. The sliced carrots in the curry needed to be a little bit tender, they were more on the crispy not cooked side. Wish they were as tender as the potatoes. For dessert, I chose the taro custard. If you’re a taro fan, you’re in for a treat! Real chunks of taro give that earthy yummy taste. I’d order this custard again, maybe ask for a little sprinkle of coconut milk to bring it up another notch! Can’t leave this review without mentioning the great polite service. Appointments were great: napkins and straws were in a cute container, silverware tucked in folded paper napkins, cold tap water served in...
Read moreOn the Osiris Hotness Scale, I’d rate this place an 8/10 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. Honestly, it could have easily been a 10/10 if not for a couple of small things.
The food itself is outstanding — some of the best Thai dishes I’ve had in the area. Flavors are rich, balanced, and authentic, with that perfect mix of freshness and spice that makes Thai cuisine so memorable. From appetizers to main courses, every plate felt thoughtfully prepared, and you can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve.
The location is convenient, but the two drawbacks worth mentioning are the limited parking and the tight seating inside. During busier hours, it can feel a little cramped, and finding a parking spot sometimes requires patience. The space could also benefit from a bit of extra TLC to really match the quality of the food.
That said, the dining experience more than makes up for these small issues. Service was friendly and efficient, the atmosphere is casual and welcoming, and the food is so good that it’s worth working around the parking or seating challenges.
Overall, this is absolutely one of the best Thai food spots in the area. With a few minor improvements, it could easily jump to a 10/10. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic, flavorful Thai cuisine.
