Captain Dās Seafood Virginia Beach, VA 26 February 2022
My husband and I had been craving Captain Dās. We finally located one!! Yay! Or at least we thought. After waiting in the drive thru line for approximately 40 minutes, we were asked for our order and immediately told to wait. After another 10 minute waitā We were asked for our order in a rude manner ā as if we were an inconvenience to the worker. My husband placed an order for two fish platters, a Childrenās chicken mean with sides of macaroni & cheese, coleslaw and green beans. We pulled up to the pick-up window and they took our payment. Without a word.
My husband was handed his card back and the cashier started handing us food & drinks. We did not order drinks. My husband advised that we did not have drinks this order may not be ours.
They asked what we ordered.
My husband then told them two fish platters and a Childrenās chicken meal.
They then advised us that they had to make fresh fish and we needed to pull up and wait. My husband asked for malt vinegar and tarter sauce as our sauces and they responded they did not have any.
We pulled forward, parked and my husband proceeded to go into the building to get malt vinegar from a bottle.
He was immediately stopped and told the inside was not open to customers.
Needless to say we are extremely disappointed, the food was horrid. The macaroni & cheese was just cheese. The tarter sauce was opened. So we didnāt use it either.
I highly advise no one order or eat at this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām an Uber Eats delivery driver. Went to pick up and order and was under the impression order was accurate and filled. Got to the person to whom I was delivering to (IE the original customer) and discovered only 2 of the 3 meals were within the bag given.
I would have easily gone back to the store to simply picked up any remaining food I may have missed, and would not have had any issues driving back to itā¦had the girl who picked up the phone not hung up on me. Twice.
The second I introduced myself as the driver delivering from Uber Eats, the phone audibly is heard clicking; the line went dead.
Second time I call, they are in mid laughter from what I assume may have been about something else at work (yet is still not professional to hear on the line) and I try to reintroduce myself again. Full name and as āthe driver from Uber Eatsā.
Hung up again.
I donāt appreciate given the feeling of mockery while you canāt even act professional long enough to meet me halfway on a simple error. I donāt understand what I did wrong to deserve being made fun of on the phone. You not only mocked me for calling but the customer who now canāt even have a completed delivery.
This was at around 6pm today, October 5th, 2024.
Edit: Considering neither corporate nor the management ever replied to me when I was asked to send this to their website I will assume either they will not do anything about the issue with their workers or refuse to. My review and grade will...

Cashier asks āManagerā named Tamika/Mika about it and she yells from the back kitchen saying they donāt accept digital giftcards. She then says she never heard of a e-giftcard and laughs at me. She off the bat came off aggressive and rude. I tried to explain itās a digital giftcard sent by the company from the offical website. On the website they have options for digital e-giftcard through email. Clearly she is not EDUCATED or in fit position to be a āmanagerā. She did not come to the front to even look at itā¦nor did she even try to scan the giftcard code. The entire time she proceeds to yell at me from the back of the kitchen in a very aggressive manner for asking her to try redeeming it. I have her on video recording of her yelling at me, then proceeding to call me Karen for asking several times why I canāt use my giftcard at the franchise. She threatened to call police on me for it too. 3 customers commented to me that it was ridiculous I couldnāt use my giftcard too. Absolute NO customer service at all. You guys need a new and BETTER positive āmanagerā. By far WORST Customer service I have ever experienced in my life. She needs to be FIRED.
