On 2/28/24 we went to GFO with an approved financial amount of 3000 with a deposit of 750. We picked out $3000 worth of furniture and scheduled a delivery date for 3/1/2024. We were escorted to the back of the store to complete the sale ( the lady closest to the wall) AFTER we paid the $750 we where told the a check stub and physical SSN card was needed. We were curious why they would take a $750 deposit without letting us know we didn't have all the proper documentation to finalize the sale. We were told to just bring the documents back on 3/1/24 so the company can pick up and deliver the furniture. On 2/29/24 we returned to the GFO and made them ( the team in the back , the lady the sits furthest from the wall) aware that the SSN was being mailed and would not be there until Tuesday 3/5/25 and we explained how we were only told that we needed the documents after we paid the deposit, she talked to Tori and Tori authorized the furniture to beheld until 3/5/24 when the documents arrived. On 3/3/24 we went back to GFO and noticed all of our items that we paid a deposit for and was told would be held , had been sold! We were not even giving a call or anything when I notified the sales representative that had sold us the items all he said was that you didn't complete the sale. I asked him " well what were y'all going to do with our money? What where y'all going to do when we came back to get our items?" He replied well you didn't complete the sale! And walked away! Thank god Kewon was there and was such a great help. He helped us use our already paid deposit towards something for a even swap. He was very apologetic about the situation even thou is was not his fault and he also recalled the conversation about our items being held for us. Nonetheless he was very professional and helpful. As far as ALL other parties involved Shame on you! The lack of empathy , compassion and accountability buy the staff that was there is totally...
Read moreGrand Furniture Outlets has never failed me so far! Mr. Marlos has been helping my family for 5 years now!! We have been back over and over again and always been satisfied with the sale and more importantly the customer service. He is always helpful and making sure we get what we need for our business and home. Several times we have had to furnish our business or a family memeber home and he made sure we were taking care of. Mr. Riddick also helped us yesterday make a purchase and was super helpful great customer service and excellent knowledge on the furniture. Was able to point us to the right direction on finding chairs at their main store even though they had only 2 when I needed 6. He also was able to help make our experience better after being met with a super rude head manager. I have never watch someone in the service business be so disrespectful in my life. We traveled from DC to come and he was so rude, but Mr. Riddick helped us. I would never come here unless one of them are there. Marlos should definitely be training the rest of the staff because he...
Read moreI'm not sure what I expected when I went to GFO. There was a huge selection of furniture. Some were sets. Others were just mix and match type. There were even pieces of sectionals. They have 4 different price tags ( new, discontinued, return/exchanged, and must go) There's really options for everyone. Oh, I forgot to mention the prices drop weekly until the item is sold! If you're trying to find a good bargain this is a great place to start.
Update 11/17/24
Going from 4 to 2 stars.
Everytime I come into this store there's always ONE guy that acts like he can't assist me. Almost as if he feels I'm just "window shopping". He was shocked when I came at the beginning of the year and bought a whole living room set in 5 minutes. This time he sort of just watched me look out the corner of his eye. Never saying a word. I had to walk up and interrupt them sitting on the furniture to ask my question. I don't want to spend my money somewhere where no one wants to help you when needed. It's extremely awkward and...
