I work less than a half a mile away and remember when this shop opened. I had been ordering from day one and picking up. Within the last year or so, this place has turned into a joke, a very sick joke. First, they obviously cannot read because I always select to cut sandwich in half, but they never do, to the point I write "Cut In Half" as the name of person getting sandwich but makes no difference. Not too big of a deal. Second, when I have mentioned it, they have an attitude about having to open it back up and cut it. Oh well, if you had read the order, wouldn't be a problem. Not my fault, but still not too big of a deal. Last but not least, two days ago I order sandwiches, as I get the same thing every time. I sent one of my fellow employees to go pick it up. Once she is back, I open one sandwich up, ate half and started talking to co-worker. I happened to glance down and noticed something sticking out of the sandwich. I opened the sandwich, and there was a hair, about 4-5 inches long, laying inside the sandwich with about an inch hanging out. NO LIE, SWEAR TO GOD!!! I took it back, asked for a manager, but no one could tell me who the manager is. No hair-nets that I could see on the females, but whatever. So, I tried to show a guy inside, behind counter and he gets an attitude and says he can't help me, he is only delivery guy. Well, if you can't help me, why are you asking if you can help me? I get told to go to front register and as I tried to pick my food up, the delivery driver grabs the food up and stuffs in the bag, basically taking it out of my hands, which was rude. Another guy comes, gives me my refund, no apology, no offer to replace sandwiches, nothing. I realize that things happen beyond control, but when it does, shouldn't there be some level of accountability? These people showed no level of care in any shape or form. I recommend to not eat...
Read moreI usually order jimmy johns for my go to delivery for my lunch to my job because I can't leave to and get something and don't want to pay doordash prices to have soemthing delivered so jimmy johns was perfect, about 6-8 months ago I ordered with jimmy johns a cash order FORD DELIVERY and AFTER my sandwich is made they decide to call me and tell they don't have a delivery driver...I was like okay no delivery driver today whatever, they tell me I can come pick it up. I tell them I can't I am at my job. And they tell me to cancel it. And I was like alright I went to do that and funny I CANT because they already accepted and made the sandwich if you knew you didnt have a delivery driver why didnt you call the customer first...so I called them back and told them they have to do it, because I can't. The employee he clearly sounded like he didn't know what he was doing said okay. For MONTHS the order was still sitting in my jimmy johns account because no one canceled it. I don't know if it still is. I'm lucky it was the cash option otherwise I would have lost money on thay forever pending order. I've been calling frequently for the past 6-8 months just to see if there is a delivery driver even employed there to deliver a freaking sandwich. And everytime i call no one can give me a straight answer. They just say they dont have a driver TODAY no word as to when they might or why or nothing I work 1.9 miles away this is irritating. Can anyone tell me if delivery is available at this location like damn. It sure freaking says it does...
Read moreThere are no adequate words to describe the abysmal customer service I received today. I placed an order for delivery. Approximately an hour and half after the order was placed, I attempted to make contact to check on the eta of our order. Our call went unanswered as were the four other calls I placed. After no answer I finally went to the store to pickup the sandwiches myself. At the time of my arrival my sandwiches hadn’t been started. My order was sitting in a large pile near the register amongst others. I asked if some sort of discount could be applied to my order for the inconvenience of not having delivery provided (even though I paid for it) and the untimely manner the sandwiches were prepared but the best they could do was to offer me a free sandwich or chips or cookie. Not only did I pay a delivery fee (a service I did not get) but the service I did get was awful. No one was interested in turning my experience around or offer a concession for the inconvenience I experienced (a discount on my current order and refund for the delivery fee at minimum).
