Domoishi Little Creek — Restaurant in Norfolk

WARNING!!! Come here with an appetite!!!! Whew. Today was the second time I've tried Domoishi. The first time we ordered boba and some wings. My goodness those wings ate good. My husbands only complaint about the wings is he wishes that Domoishi would explore into more wing sauces. They are so perfectly fried up. The boba is delightful. Some of them can be a little sweet for my taste but I can't complain much about that. Today I got a tonkatsu ramen (spicy) with pork. Now keep in mind before moving here I have had ramen twice in California and apparently it was always bland and lacking. I've probably gone to all the wrong places but that's what I have to compare it to. Those 2 bad experiences had me wary about trying this place but we are leaving the area soon and I wanted to try every place I could. Anywho, the ramen is phenomenal. So much flavor in the broth. Really bounced me off my diet but so worth it. The to go bowls are made do perfectly. I actually for a second thought "hey they forgot the broth!" Not realizing that it was served in the most unique and perfect to go plate made for any type of soup. There was a nice big serving of noodles. I tell ya, I am STUFFED to the brim. Matter of fact I haven't moved from my table since eating because my stomach is too extended to tow it anywhere. The pork was so tasty as well. I loved every aspect of it. The only small issue was I didn't find it to be spicy as asked but I didn't mind bc it was just so flavorful. I also got a taro boba...so good and once again my husband got the wings. My family is a huge fan of ramen and poke bowls (and I'm a fan of boba so you can imagine we were so interested in this place the moment it opened up!) We never got the chance to get food from here but for tonight that all changed! We just finished a 2 day drive home from Wisconsin and we definitely did not feel like cooking when we got home and we figured since Domoishi is right across the street so we might as well order! I was nervous at first because usually to-go food is never as good as getting it fresh in the restaurant and I didn't want that to ruin my perception of this place. My parents both got poke bowls and I got ramen and thai boba tea. Needles to say, we were SO impressed. The to-go packaging was out of this world. My ramen was still hot and tasted fresh and my parents said their poke bowls tasted like they were made minutes ago. We loved what we got and can't wait to continue ordering from here! For a chain restaurant, this place is fantastic! I ordered based on a "Buy one, get one" deal on UberEats for Taro Milk Tea, and also got a Tonkatsu Ramen, and Spicy Soy Garlic Wings. I was impressed with the packaging, and taste. My delivery came in a reusable tote bag, and the ramen bowl separated the soup from the noodles (I normally ask for these to be in two different containers). Overall, the flavor of the broth and pork was great, wings were crispy and not too spicy, and the boba tea was lightly sweetened just as requested. If you are expecting authentic Asian fare, this isn't the place for you. However, if you want Americanized fast food versions, this definitely satisfied those cravings after a long...
