Before I ordered this food, I called this establishment. I asked them what came in their shrimp with lobster sauce, more specifically, I asked them which types of meat go in it. The man on the phone asked me to hold on, and I assume he went to figure out the answer to my question (although why have him answering the phones if he can’t answer questions? Incompetence.) after a rudely long wait, he said only carrots and shrimp came in my order. That’s exactly what I wanted. So I then proceeded with my order, which was a large one at that. When my food arrived, we were dismayed at the realization that not only was there meat in it, it was pork. My husband is Islamic and does not eat pork from a religious stand point. Had I not inspected my food, my husband would’ve gone against his religious culture and not by his own volition. This was of course, unacceptable. I called this establishment and asked for an explanation and a replacement. The lady who answered the phone kept talking over me, not allowing me to finish my statements, she was very rude, she kept insisting that the restaurant was closed although their online hours said otherwise and then ultimately hung up on me as I was mid sentence. I spent a lot of money on food this evening for my family, and all I asked was that they remedy the mistake that they made however instead I was treated with the most unprofessional behavior and blatant rudeness.
FURTHERMORE. I then went to bite into one of the other items that I bought, only to find that the meat was raw.
If I didn’t inspect my food before I ate it my Muslim husband would have eaten pork and I would’ve eaten raw meat.
Truly a despicable eating establishment, incompetent and rude workers with absolutely abhorrent food.
Save your money. Do not eat here. Avoid restaurant that treat their consumers like this. These people clearly do not care about customer...
Read moredon't know why everyone is leaving bad reviews !! i ordered online and they called to confirm that i ordered. it was quite noisy when i answered and hard to hear them so i just answered yes for whatever question they gave me. (oops) and the person was trying to talk over me when i kept asking about the number calling.
i didn't go pick it up, someone did for me. and they said the service was fine, just that they were pretty busy. no problem there, our order was already done by then. worker confirmed our order by making sure they called the right phone number, what's in our order and name of course.
now the actual food. we ordered shrimp lo mein, scallion pancakes general tso tofu and a small rice. we didn't order another rice or fortune cookies but they were kind enough to give it to us. everything was cooked nicely. a little greasy but what more would you expect ? lo mein - 7/10 scallion pancakes - 9/10 (little greasy but still wonderful) general tso tofu - 5/10 (sauce was good but tofu was odd and chewy) rice was well cooked.
overall a 7/10 !! would order from here again if i lived...
Read moreThe second worst part of moving, hands down, is finding a new Chinese spot. I was craving Chinese something fierce & just went for it. 70 dollars worth of food, ordered with blind trust, & it was ready for pickup in 15. I peeped my mans location to see where about it was (remember, I just moved) & the joint is next to a strip club. Aiight, aiight. Ima use that to mess with him later. He came home, it smelled so good. We made plates. The crazy in me was prepping to ask tf he was doing at a strip club, but then I took a bite. The way the meat melted in my mouth? It melted my attitude right with it. It was so good, I straight up forgot what I was about to say. I’m shocked. Their foods so good, they’re out here saving lives. Saving marriages. I’ll be sending my man back-...
