This McDonald's is officially on the Black List (I mean that in two ways). I will NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER go here again. I will go to the other McDonald's by ODU before I will go there. I had a few bad experiences before, but I brushed them off and I was pretty understanding, until one day the girl gave me the wrong change. She shorted me by 10 dollars. And I did not realize it until I looked in my wallet and realized she cheated me. So I immediately called the restaurant to tell them that they made a mistake, and the girl was so ready to get off of the phone with me, she told me she would check and did not even ask me my phone number. So I had to offer that to her, then she called me back like an hour later and told me that the register was not short. Now, I may be a lot of things, but a lousy counter is not one of them. lol. So I went onto the McDonald's website and filed a complaint. I called the number and filed a complaint over the phone after the girl told me I wouldn't get my money. Then I wanted to come up there in person and the GHETTO-EST girl came from the back and her and I got into a screaming match after she called her boss and basically was talking about me right in my face to her boss. So UNPROFESSIONAL. She walked off and went in the back after telling me I wouldn't get my money. So I had to call the number again and complain. I also filled out a second complaint online, too. Then, the regional manager called me and to my utter surprise, was just as rude!! She told me the register was not short, duh, because it's sitting somewhere else other than the register. How in the hell does 10 whole dollars disappear in 20 minutes. I don't think so. Why would I go out of my way to do something dishonest. I told her I come here all the time and I'd been going to this place for years. So she basically just told me she would give me my money to appease me, no I'm sorry, no nothing. Just, we counted the register, it wasn't short, you're wrong, end of story. So I went and got the money, and I will never ever ever ever go here again. The never answer the phone either. I knew, and I hate to say this, I had to call one in the white area to get them to answer the phone so that I could call and complain to customer service about the ghetto black one in my area. FYI I am black. lol. Use the one further down the road. Love the ODU one. The students know how to treat you better and are NICE all the time.    Read moreAbsolutely worst customer service I ever experienced! I go through the drive thru and ordered a 10 piece meal right along with my kids happy meals. I asked for it all to be fresh. I get my food and the fries and my kids food was good, but my chicken nuggets were cold. I didnât get mad I simply drove to the drive thru and told the lady who rung my meal up that my chicken nuggets were cold. She had an attitude. She looked as if I was a problem for my food being cold. I simply told her that my nuggets were the only thing that was cold that was it. I brushed it off didnât pay it no mind on how she was acting. I was hopeful that the other young lady will be at the window, because she was so nice. I asked her if she wanted me to go to the next window and she took the nuggets and told me that I could. I go to the window. Why the girl approach come to the window with an attitude and hand me hot nuggets in my hand! No bag at all! That is definitely not the way. She almost burnt my hand doing that. I said thank you and the girl never said anything and slammed the window. I wait there, because I couldnât believe how the poor service was. I was confused on why she was acting that way. She comes back over Iâm assuming she thought I was missing something. I said maâam are you ok? She looked like I messed up her whole energy. She was like are you?!! With the worst tone ever. I said thatâs not how you talk to people you are being rude. You wouldâve thought I was getting pranked I definitely was in disbelief. I said may I see your manager go get your manager. She walks off. Manager comes over very polite. I told her what happened. She apologized and everything and said she will handle it. Only thing I didnât like which left a bad taste in my mouth is that she said that she was pregnant thatâs most likely why sheâs acting like that. I said maâam I know how it is but I have two kids and thatâs still not the way you act towards people you need to handle that. I said she handed me hot nuggets with no bag and I couldnât get a simple youâre welcome after saying thank you. She again apologized. This is why I prefer Chick-fil-A over this place, because the customer service is top tier and if Iâm going to pay $20+ at least I get my money worth.    Read moreThe level of unprofessionalism & un organization in this establishment is UNREAL. I started my first night as an employee here on 12/23/23 & didn't even make it a full 2 hours into the shift. I had to, first of all, go through hell & high water to even get a date for training. The managers are clueless when it comes to what needs to be done for new hires. (this is a whole story within itself). The day I start work.. I was just told what to do. No training.. NOTHING. I kept reminding them I worked Mcdonald's in HIGH SCHOOL.. over 5 years ago, so I don't really know what I'm doing. The management team needs to be FIRED. Jackie, especially. I experienced 2 incidents in a matter of not even 2 hours that caused so much second hand embarrassment. They allowed their employee to curse at customers with no intervention, de-escalation.. NOTHING! Jackie got a full blown attitude like I was inconveniencing her because I asked a few questions about what I should be doing. I advised her I had no training.. it was my first night.. in a respectful manner just to be made out like I WAS THE PROBLEM when truth be told.. how their store is RAN IS THE PROBLEM. Their general manager going on vacation without his ship running tightly.. IS THE PROBLEM. I FELT LIKE I WAS IN A MOVIE!! it was so unreal. I got my things & left after experiencing blatant disrespect, unprofessionalism, & nonsense because $15 an hour is nowhere near enough money to be treated the way I was nor is it enough for me to standby & watch them treat innocent people the way they do. Jackie had enough nerve to say something slick as she locked the establishment doors behind me as I was leaving. It was the grace of God protecting her from me mushing her in her face. The customer that threw ketchup at her through the drive thru window.. BABY.. i wish you threw them harder so they could've exploded all over her because she truly deserved it as well as the crew member with the cornrows with the blue ends. This particular mcdonald's doesn't deserve a dime of anyone's hard earned money.. let alone the honest work done by people just trying to provide for their families. I could write a best selling novel on the foolery that occurred!!!!
