Taco Bell — Restaurant in Norfolk

Updated review: Depending who's on duty, it's always hit or miss, mostly the latter at this location. There's have been some instances that it's really good, but for the most part it's not been good lately. Today I ordered from the app at 12:04 PM and it was still was not prepared at 12:25 PM. People ahead of me got their food. I was told I that I would have to wait through several drive thru orders before I would get my order. When it was time to prepare my order, it was all thrown in the bag. I sensed a lot of passive aggressiveness from the staff. It doesn't help that the place is woefully understaffed. Also the food here is old and stale, especially the soft taco and burrito tortillas, and nacho chips. Despite it being close to me, I am no longer going to this location, due to the way I was treated. I am sick of giving it chances and me ending up being a glutton for punishment.

FYI: Always check your bag before you leave, to see everything that you ordered is there. I seem to end up with missing or wrong items. I ordered 10 piece nuggets, but while checking the bag in restaurant, I noticed I got the five piece. I let the staff know about this and they gave me the correct amount. Items that are featured on the Taco Bell app are not at said location. I ordered my lunch on the app at noon. I got a notification that it was ready at 12:17 PM. I come in five minutes later, and they haven't prepared my order. Why the hell did the app say it was ready, when it wasn't? A lot of people were waiting for their orders. I wish I could put a 0. The employees there have stolen our debt card information. We live in Newport News and this location is in another city! We went through drive through and handed our card, and we get notifications from our online app and recieved the charge. The next day we are at home and recieved a notification of another charge. We physically had our card when we received the notification they charged us a different amount. When I called they tired to say they didn't have the card and couldn't help because without the order number they couldn't pull anything in the system and they said something about not being able to use camera's. We asked the names of the workers, because they must have taken our information from the card and bought food. They were not helpful and just said to call our bank. Worst in history. What kind of manager are you to not have your store ready and then open late and still not be ready. How could you have a meeting on the time you open and then have horrible bad customer service. Why open at all if your not gonna be ready. What kind of customer service are you showing your customer when we already waited then finally letting us in the store and still tell us to wait. They didnt even apologize for having open late and not ready. How can you not have eggs and have your place smell like smoke when the resturant is suppose to be a non-smoking zone. Its even worse cuz i didnt even think they all wash there hands when they went back to start making the food. The manager is horrible so thats the reason the staff and the service is horrible.
