MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Norfolk

I’ve been to this MOD a few times and normally have an okay experience. But today was pretty bad. I walked in (around 4:30pm) and immediately noticed how dirty the food station was. It looked like they just made 100 pizzas, yet the store was basically empty. There was cheese littered all over the counter and in some of the veggies.

I wasn’t greeted upon entering or while standing at the front for a little while. This doesn’t normally Bug me but I found it weird because normally when I come here they are good about it.

I confirmed multiple times that they had both vegan cheese and vegan sausage before the young man began making my pizza. Then, of course, after trying to give what would normally be one portion of sausage to two pizzas. The young man looked around and could not find anymore. Forcing me to have had enough with this trip, and having to leave.

Like I started with, I normally have an okay experience at this MOD. Certainly better than other MOD pizzas. But today, with the lack of being acknowledged, the cross contamination, poor clean up, and then not being able to just take the second to double check a specialty item is in stock. I feel it warranted...

Went to MOD at the Outlets at 7:00pm on Aug 30, 2023.Walked in and only saw 2 employees a girl and a guy.The girl was clearly doing everything. Only 2 orders in front of us we waited for 25 mins, finally another employee emerged from the back. There was no dough ready, like 10 online orders on the counter and one just arrived in store that had not been started yet. SO now we are listening to them say they needed to do those now, instead of waiting on us...no one said anything to us or even acknowledged us. The work station was a horrible mess, food every where all over the floor and several ingredients not filled and I heard one of them say, "just tell them we don't have it" as the girl has it in her hand. Then a cloud of weed enters and the guy who brought it in was an employee, so the whole shop now smells like weed. We had enough and walked out, with now about 10 people still waiting to place an order. There is clearly a management problem here. Please fix this. The location is convenient, but with current staff we will probably not be back...

Ordered $40 worth of food from this restaurant. The order took three times as long as the wait time and when it finally arrived the order was completely wrong. They free styled our build your own salads and just sent it to us like it was normal. Why do you pick salad toppings if they’re just going to omit whatever they feel like and add random ingredients. That is not what I paid for, called the restaurant and before I could finish speaking about my problem with the order the woman who claimed that she was the manager interrupted me and got aggressive with me unprovoked as I was trying to ask her how something like this could have happened. When you order your own salad and pick your ingredients I think that means you should get what you ordered. If someone was allergic to the added ingredients it would’ve been even worse. 0/10 food, 0/10 management. A real joke of a restaurant. I have been coming to this Mods for about 4 years now and the past year it has just been slop. Do better hire better employees....
