My husband and I was in the store on 12/14/2021 @ 3:32 pm. Ju'Niya was the cashier thar took my order. I was planning to place a big order but was getting tasting order to see if those were the flavors my kids wanted for a event. Ju'Niya was very rude from the beginning when she saw I had a $50. She stated I can't take that so I don't know what you wanna do if you wanna go somewhere and get change. The poor customer service tone and arrangement of words were a complete turn off. So I said that was unkind the way you said it, you can say it a little more kinder. She proceeded to say in an uneducated way that she's just saying. So I paid with $10.86, 1 cent short and I didn't have the extra 1 cent. She was refusing and became argumentative over 1 cent and when I referred to the change jar on the counter, if she can use that penny she said no my draw will be short. I said there's a penny and you can't use it. She rolled her eyes and walked over to the Doughnut machine without washing her hands and proceeded to make Doughnuts without gloves as well. I asked are you not going to put gloves on or wash your hands because you just had money in your hands. She became really disrespectful talking to a coworker as if I wasn't there talking about me and she isn't dealing with me today..... She was violating health codes besides giving your company and bad representation. The other coworker came out, wash her hands, put on gloves and completed our order. I have never been so ill treated by your establishment. With all the money I've spent at DD, I deserve decent service. She definitely isn't a good fit for DD nor appreciate to opportunity to work when so many humble people out here would love to be in her place. Doughnuts were good but not good...

Me and my family stopped at this Duck Donuts while on our way out of town to get breakfast. As someone who works in and helps manage a bakery that is a larger scale “Made-To-Order” bakery this was absolutely disgraceful. We ordered at about 10:30am and got 7 donuts, 2 milkshakes, and 4 sandwiches. A decent size order, but not the biggest order they’ve probably seen that day. After we ordered we went around the side of the counter to wait for it all to come out. The donuts came out pretty quickly (within 15 minutes), the milkshakes took longer (about 30 minutes), and then we were waiting…and waiting…and waiting. After FORTY FIVE MINUTES of waiting this girl came up to us and said “Are you guys the ones with the sandwiches? So the toaster isn’t working and I don’t want to give you cold sandwiches so are you okay with donuts?” None of us cared about having donuts instead of bagels, but ALL of us were irritated at the fact that it took forty five minutes for her to tell us about this and ask if we wanted something else. Fifteen minutes later we finally got our sandwiches and left giving us a grand total of an HOUR wasted waiting for our food that shouldn’t have taken more than half an hour maximum. The store wasn’t overly busy and yet customers were leaving because no one was taking their orders. This is completely unacceptable in this business and should not be overlooked. Read moreI visited this location on two occasions and both experiences were extremely disappointing. Based on the most recent visit today, I know that I will never patronize this establishment again. The first visit was met with inexperienced young adults engaged in small conversations about patrons within the store. I left to pick up my order from a neighboring business, upon re-entering the store the young man who was in a leadership role said " Hey girl" your stuff is coming ok. I looked and provided a teachable moment sharing that statements as such is disrespectful as I am a seasoned woman and one of a certain age. Also, I ordered specifically " no bacon" on my donuts and of course my order was wrong. The other employees were not any better. Hence my order was remade and I left very disappointed. Today's visit was met with a negative outcome. I waited in line for 8 minutes to only be told the store was out of donuts. The young lady never offered any alternative but simply escorted me out the establishment as they closing. Unbeknownst to her, I saw two donuts in the holding. This was what I would refer to as "laziness and not customer service friendly". As an individual who has worked for close to 40 years and work in Higher Education, supporting, teaching and reaching future leaders, in evaluating, this establishment, one it is in need of resources to include a course in customer service etiquette and secondly, a course in diversity.
