Visited for the first time. The ordering system is a little strange, filling out a bag or card with what you want just so a person can input it into a computer to ring you up. Then they use those bags/cards to make the sandwich, I guess so they don't have to ask the person like other sandwich chains. Service was slow. My friends got their food and after waiting over 20 minutes with multiple people who ordered after me getting their orders, I finally asked about mine. I was told "it's coming." I watched them pass my order back and forth like they didn't want to make it? It was straight from the menu, minus a couple items, so nothing difficult or extreme. After another 10 minutes or so I was told they didn't have avocado, at that point I asked for a refund. The sandwich was black bean and avocado. Suddenly, they have avocado it just needs to be blended. Maybe no one wanted to do that? Finally, after waiting 35-40 minutes, the sandwich is ready. It was made by the person who was originally taking orders not the original two making sandwiches, so passed to a 3rd person. Obviously I'm not thrilled at this point. Someone came up to the table and offered a choice of free drink, side, or sandwich with my next visit. I asked for a partial refund of this visit because I have no plans to visit again. Possibly a manager (not sure) agreed and gave me a full refund. 3☆ because they refunded and apologized. The sandwich was ok, not worth the wait! My friends thought theirs were also just ok. Read moreYesterday evening, my husband suggested we try some sandwiches from this Which Wich location in Norfolk Virginia. My husband chose the gyro sandwich option. However the place was out of gyro meat and so he agreed to substitute the steak. I asked him what he thought of his sandwich to which he replied "meh" and he is actually less picky about food than I am. I actually wanted to like my sandwich especially because the employee handling our food was very polite and gave us our food in a timely manner (this is the reason I give at least a star to at least honor the good customer service the employee performed). I chose the seafood option in a bowl that allowed for steak crab. I asked to have bacon oregano parmesan garlic black olives pickles carmelized onions and mozarella also with the order. However the amount of crab, olives, pickles and steak was a smaller amount of what I hoped for in conjunction for the price I paid for the sandwich (additionally the crab and steak could have used more seasoning and flavoring). There was a plentiful amount of lettuce in my bowl compared to the toppings and the lettuce itself could have also used more flavoring andor seasoning. Once i placed my order grabbed chips and drink and was waiting for my sandwich the young lady fixed my sandwich and dropped it she apologized and said she would make another one. Instead of her making my order right then she proceeded to go to the next few orders as I’m waiting. I then asked was she doing my order over if not i will just get a refund because i needed to go to work. I then goes to the “Store Manager” Devina and asked for a refund because she dropped my sandwich he tells me he cant do a refund because he’s on the phone with IT. So at that point I’m out of money, sandwich and late for work. He then tells me that things happen and it would be longer to process the refund but she was making the sandwich. We then exchange words i asked for corporate number and he tells me this is a franchise and he will give me a card if i want to leave a review. I stated i don’t want to leave a review i wanted my money or sandwich. I proceeded to get my sandwich and he stills wants to be confrontational he then follows me out the store and ask for my badge work number. No information was exchanged.
