UPDATE: Just wanted to update that management did in fact contact me to discuss what happened that day. But it was basically just to tell me what I should've done as if they had not already been figured out. There was no empathy for what happened at all. So even with the phone call, my feelings about that store stay the same. They are a TOTAL misrepresentation of the quality of customer service that Chick-fil-A is known for. And I do not ever plan to go there or recommend them to anyone again. So again, thanks for nothing.
Original Post: Tried to place a breakfast order as a reward for some deserving middle school students. The order was never prepared, supposedly because we did not get in the drive-through line and TALK to order taker before breakfast was over even though I had hit the already in the drive-through button immediately after placing the order which was at 10:05 am. I've never had this issue at any other Chick-fil-A. Just this one at the prime outlets in Norfolk, Virginia very disappointing for the students and very frustrating for me. Because even though the person picking up the order, got there shortly after breakfast and they could've accommodated us they chose not to. Even when I tried to rectify the situation, they didn't even try to help. And rather than waiting for me to talk to them about the order, they had canceled it before we even got there, which means that the money to purchase the items is now pending so we can't do a new order for anything else anywhere else today. I always thought Chick-fil-A went above and beyond, but I guess there's always that exception to the rule. I will NEVER visit that Chick-fil-A ever again. Read moreThis was our first time eating at the Chick-fil-A on North Hampton Blvd--- The line moved very slow compared to other Chick-fil-A's that we have eaten ---- Once we got up to the front and received our food my wife noticed that we didn't receive the large fry as we ordered but received a small fry which the large fry was on the receipt stuck to the bag--- I got their attention to let them know and the employee asked for my bag so he can look thru it for himself--- I declined to give it to him because he didn't have on gloves and we saw him pick something up off the ground at another car then he wanted to stick his hands in our bag --- He said we'll give me the small fry and I will go make it large , again I declined to give it to him until after he gives us the large fry --- He asked another employee should he give us the large fry before we return the small fry ---
When we asked for the manager we were told the manager was busy so we had to park and wait which we didn't have time due to another engagement they brought me the fry and after we pulled off and my daughter took a bite the fry's were hard and cold --- My wife called the store to speak with a manager we were put on hold and then the phone would hang up --- Only if we didn't have a prior engagement I would've turned around and went back because Chick-fil-A is normally the most professional and respectful fast food...
Read moreI have almost never, Ever had a bad experience with Chick-fil-A until today. I went through the drive thru, scanned my loyalty app, paid for my food, got my bag and as I was pulling off I realized we did not have the sauces we ordered and oky one ketchup for a large fry. I go inside to get the sauces and another ketchup. I can only describe her as I saw her ,not trying to shame, but she has obviously had cosmetic work done on her lips and other places. She was the rudest person I have ever encountered at Chick-fil-A. I told her the issue and she at first refused to give me the sauces I asked for. I told her I would pay for the extra if needed but I only received Polynesian sauces when I asked for 2 chik FIL a sauces, 2 barbecue, and 2 ketchups for my large fry and 12 piece. I told her I would give the two Polynesian sauces I got in my bag or pay extra for the sauces as that is what I asked for and if there is some limit I'll pay for the extra. She begin to argue with me and told me I could only pay for the bottles and she would give me one barbecue and one chik fila but no ketchup. She literally stood there in a restaurant full of patrons and argued me down about a Ketchup package and extra sauces packages I would be willing to pay for.
